First of all I normally use yelp, so so me this is my first google review, you can read the same on yelp. This was just such an AWFUL experience I want to make sure I post it anywhere I can!! Let me set the scene. It’s 2 months before my 40th birthday party, I decided on an 80s/90s theme and hunted down a light brite that you could play old school arcade games on. Ummm perfect. Book it, pay for it, thought I was good to go. Flash forward to three days before the weekend of the party and I get a call from noemi, my rep or whatever. She tells me they need to deliver Friday the day before my party instead of day of on Saturday, and I need to be there to sign. But I have a job so that’s not ideal. So I ask her to at least get out there after 3 so I don’t have to take a whole day off work. She’s agreed (how kind of her) then calls the next day with the exciting news that they can deliver Saturday after all. But no light brite. Just the other stuff in the order. It’s broken and they just tested it TWO DAYS before my party to figure that out. Not to worry. Noemi to the rescue, they have another light up thing I can rent. It had to be light up for the event because it was going in a dark part of my yard. Since it’s two days before my insert and I’m panicking I decide I’ll take it. Ugh. But wait. They don’t actually have that either after all. And nothing else lights up. But don’t worry. Noemi says I can have a refund. Two days before my party. In the middle of December holiday rush (no way anyone else will have a giant light brite available to be delivered in two days in the middle of December) I find a dance dance revolution which is not at all what I want but I’m completely backed into a corner with zero other options. So I settle for that and ask for any sort of discount after all this. Noemi says absolutely not (surprise!) because the dance dance that I didn’t want was more expensive than the light brite I did want. I’m getting a great deal and if I don’t like it she can cancel the whole thing and refund me. (So now a party with nothing, cause they were delivering my tables and chairs too) She knew I had no option. And she kept saying “I said I was sorry I just don’t think you’ll be happy with anything.” Well noemi, I’d be very happy with the light brite I paid for. Then she had the audacity to say to me “well don’t think you’re going to rent this and ask for a refund after, because that’s not going to work.” Lol It’s rare I’m speechless but noemi got me! I asked them at the end to at least refund my delivery fee and her response was “we will just cancel this.” I got super lucky and found everything I needed through epic/AZ bounce pro and after my tears and panic, kim was able the convince dispatch to get everything to me by my party! Read moreIf you are a school or PTO, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! It is a bait and switch operation. I can see why this is a 1 star operation. The only reason they get one star is that their equipment is great and their person they sent to set it up and stay was amazing.
Other than that. Their contract is draconian and they don't stand behind their quote. I signed a contract for a date that was during their "peak season". They were very aware of the dates I was holding the event. When I went to pay the contract that I had already signed for one price they told me, "Oh well you are holding your event in "peak season" and it is 25% more. I said to them that they were aware of the date of my event and that they should have estimated it for their "peak season" (They kept repeating this word as if I had never booked a hotel room during "peak season"). I had another estimate for practically the same price and chose this group as it appeared initially that they were the more professional. Boy was I wrong. I was over a barrel and had to pay for the item at the price they requested as this was an event for over 200 people and I had a week until it was going to occur. They were unavailable to discuss the problem, when I did discuss the problem they treated me like I was unreasonable in asking them to stand behind their original quote.
The event almost had to be cancelled due to weather and wind. (It was an outdoor movie). I was informed at that time that I would be charged, weather or not. I could reschedule but if I cancelled I was on the hook for the entire cost. It was almost like they were happy about it. This was a school event 5 weeks before the end of the school year. No possibility of changing the date during their "peak season". I wonder what they would have said, "OK, lets do it next year." I'm sure they would have said, ok but that will be 25% more as it will be peak season and prices will be higher next year. What a sucky place.

Read moreDo your research. We rent bounce houses for children's parties at least once a year and have worked with some awesome people/companies. Arizona Bounce Around is not one of them. Their quote for a bounce house was over double the price of the same bounce house with a different company. Their delivery fees are outrageous, and they require a generator regardless of where the party is being held and what power supply you have access to. When I asked questions about the quote and explained why we didn't need a generator, they took a week to respond and didn't even bother to be polite. Clearly they don't need my business (or yours) since they don't prioritize customer service or fair pricing.
Side note: You can learn a lot about a business by how they handle negative reviews. Smart folks would acknowledge an opportunity to do better, or perhaps ignore and move on if they disagree. But these people put their poor attitudes on full display right here in their rude comments and name calling in response to people's honest experiences. What a shame.
UPDATE: regarding the very weird response from this business, I definitely haven’t ordered from them in the past, especially not in 2002 when I was barely starting college.
