Cortez Pool — Attraction in Phoenix

The bathrooms were disgusting. Bathrooms and changing areas smelled of urine Pieces of toilet paper was stuck to the floor in the bathrooms. the exit was blocked to get out of the pool by someone wouldn’t move.the lifeguards were not paying attention. Also the lifeguards did not call everyone out of the pool when there was a safety concern in the water. The toddler area was not being monitored the kids we’re pushing each other out of the way just to get down the slide I had an incident where I asked a young girl to stop spraying my toddler in the face with a hose and she got very rude and started cursing at me also I had to pick up a newspaper in front of a lifeguard that was maybe 3 inches from the pool so it wouldn’t go inThat is lazy. I have been to better places who do enforce rules for safety and cleanliness of the guest I will personally never...

The pool was so busy there was no place to swim except in the lap lane. Unfortunately the lap lane had people that weren't swimming. There was a group of people that were tossing a football that almost hit me in the head several times because no one was watching where they were throwing the ball. The lifeguards were so casual they did not control the crowd so I found the pool to be very dangerous. The water was also very murky and I questioned how healthy it was although I did see lifeguards...

I took my 3 boys there recently and we all had a blast! The slides are fun, my oldest loves the diving board and I loved that they had to test to get in certain areas.The only problem was it had a strong smell of urine in the restrooms and all around the kiddie area and the shade area where we were sitting so I figure all the little ones are peeing all over the place lol however I went home and my clothes were already dried as it is 110 outside and I smelled like old pee so bad...
