For enquiring minds as f Dec 10, 2021, supposedly Habit Burger will be opening across from Starbucks. Loopnet shows that and a town meeting from 2020 shows also.
A bit of everything, a busy corner. There isn't great handicap parking when it's busy in front of Goodwill -- in all areas, and I usually just have to go back home. I live just around the corner, so it's okay. From food to clothing, booze to hair dye, bikes to exercise, ice cream to greeting cards, overpriced fufu coffee, periodontics to new age hoopla, and mail serves at Hallmark...and newly, Sprout's, there's a dab for everyone.
Now, this shopping plaza changes all the time and it's actually the last one I go to for anything, except Goodwill but it's always been changing. It has never had the food I wanted to eat, a great donut shop like the BEST, nowhere to shop like a department store or pharmacy -- just newly Sprout's...and I go to Winco. Best of any supermarket out there. Don't believe me? Go! Lordy! I always her a lot of people talk about Sprouts' having fresh coffee beans and a great variety of by-the-pound candy, rice, etc. Winco has about, oh, 100 times more...to say the least. priced really, REALLY well all over the store. I don't shop at Sprout's. Nevertheless, the new changes may be great -- and they overhauled the facades a lot recently and it looks great -- I am sure Sprout's had a lot to do with that.
But, "Why did he give it 5 stars if he doesn't go there?" Because except for major shopping and a convenience store, it is, indeed, a terrific place to get many things that have nothing to do with each other and if you are close by, even better, because it is really a vital part of the area having what it DOES offer. It isn't like every other ridiculous shopping plaza here -- not a fan -- and it actually has things to keep you busy and enjoy your time doing so. So, when it's finished getting all gussied up, go eat, drink, buy a used chair, get some hair clippers, have some fish and a few drinks, or a hamburger and a mocha shake and sweet potato fries (all that at Habit Burger coming -- supposedly), go get a greeting card and a strange ornament, a top-notch bike, shop for the week at Sprout's, go have some Thrifty (YUM) ice cream and then your teeth fixed, get a crystal to ward off evil, then go run on a treadmill, and then go back and hit all the spots you missed! See? What's not to give 5 stars about? You'll like a lot there.
Be well,...
Read more"WHY WE LOVE THE DEER VALLEY CENTER" — "My granddaughters, Kaylee and Cooper love to visit the Deer Valley Center! All of us go to the dentist (Dr. Speigel) at Deer Valley Dentistry. As a reward for no cavities, we have lunch at Blimpie, King Gyros or Daddy-O's Grille. After lunch we stop in Desert Swirl for a yogurt cone or a yummy cookie from Baker Wee Bakery. They love having their custom birthday cake designed and made to their liking at Baker Wee! Sometimes we take a broken bike to Gordy's and then stop by Monty's Hallmark to shop. All of us enjoy shopping at Cotton Cactus and of course we love the bargains at Goodwill. They smile when they tell their friends that they got their new hair style at Great Clips. After haircuts, we usually shop at Sally Beauty and of course, go to Starbucks to get our favorite beverage! Of course, there is lots more to offer at the Deer Valley Center and the best part it is a great neighborhood shopping center! Thanks, Mary...
