Stopped by here this afternoon for a few items. Store was as expected... Large open space with inadequate amount of shelves and merchandise being offered. But overall, this place has your basic needs and will do just fine to hold you over til you can get to a actual grocery store. Recommend some serious scrubbing and cleaning. Just my opinion.
I'm giving the place the 2 star rating due to the poor customer service provided by the clerk. Don't mean to stereotype or judge people these days, but come on... It happens very much these days just as much as it did back then. The lady is Asian, so along with the other 85% of Asians working in the customer service field... Extremely rude & abrupt. Hurry up & buy type attitude. Sad.
Then to top it off... She rings me up and attempted to run my card...asks me debt or credit. I responded with it don't matter. Whatever is best for her. She runs it debt. I enter my pin. She responded with it declined. I have plenty in my account so I know it's gotta be a issue on her end. I tell her to process it again. She says she did but it declined. I tell her to run it credit now. She claimed she did but still declined.
I take my card back and walk over to atm and pull out the cash I needed with no issue. I walk back up to clerk and tell her I pulled that money off the same card and that the issue isn't my card but her or her system. She starts to argue with me about it but I take my merchandise and walk away laughing. I would have told her to keep her merchandise if the items weren't 90% for someone else and not just...

I just bought a wok and am looking for ingredients that Safeway doesn't carry on their two shelves of Asian food. The search engine brought me here.
They have soy sauce and oyster sauce and Maruchan noodles, but they have more Mad Dog 20/20 than they have rice wine or Ho Fun noodles.
It's a nice little market in a building that probably once housed a Circle K.
I'll try the next search result, 35th Ave and Camelback,...
Read moreBE CAREFUL. Been going to this store since I was 19 and now 36. Recently won 100 dollars on a lottery ticket and went here to cask it in. They gave me a fake 20 dollar bill. When I went back and politely tried to have a conversation the lady refused to give me real money and take accountability . Didn’t expect that, lees market is not what it used to be. The owners should be shame to do people like that. Especially neighborhood people who have been supporting her store from day one…. Disappointment. Make sure to check your change when...
