Mayfair Shopping Center — Attraction in Phoenix

I do my laundry there since my laundry room is a health hazard and they have free WiFi...shop and eat at foodcity...sometims I order from the Chinese restaurant sometimes from subway. I plan on checking out the nail salon soon...I used to cash my checks at the check smart when food city customer service was randomly closed for no apparent reason that swayed me back into banking. I buy my light bulbs at ace hardware, and if I liked the ghetto, Obama feel of phone service I would check out Boost mobile. If I planned on living in the area any longer than a few months, I'd check out Arrons furniture next door to boost that's next door to ace that is next door to food city, and somewhere in between I believe there is a tax place but I use liberty all the way in Glendale , on 59th next to 711...they will get you some cash and even drive you to cash your check and find and remind you even standing in the welfare line that they can make it rain. And they do. Very efficient and fast...they even give really good bbqs all you can eat for free...and a live dj. I miss that area actually. Back to the subject matter...this shopping center has full time security walking around keeping non paying laundry mat people from hanging out using the free WiFi. Fill up your water jugs I'm not sure what else is there...oh a dentist. I'm going to check them out too soon too. So basically there is everything there aside from a doctor and a clothing store . And right in the back...there is a hire on the spot telemarketing business. I lost my job but wasn't really looking for a new one in a hurry, but stumbled apone that just browsing around and had a job in less than a half hour. I found something else I enjoy however. And if it wasn't for this shopping center I would have been moved from my complex that has greatly impacted my self worth as well my self esteem in such a way I cringe when I have to give out my address.. I would have broke my year long lease that would have made my life darker same month in moved in. AND the awesome men that own up in smoke/24 hour tire shop accross the street are very kind...they let me park my car in their parking lot because they understand my living situation that will be over shortly. So I'm changing this to a five star. If wasn't for that residence...It's...

Social distancing is not their steong suit. First, the cashiers were placed side by side, which cant possibly be a good idea. Next, there is a rectangle setup sectioned off for customers with aisles beginning less than 10 ft beyond that section, which means all customers lined up have no optiin but to be in a small (claustrophobic sized) area. Cashiers didnt recognize the proximity of customers to each other and the register, so I had to turn around and ask that the man who was darn near breathing on my neck to "give me 6 feet, please", which he tried to do but there were people also standing directly behind him. This CVS doesnt bring in the cleanest looking customers so I just wanted to run out. Amd when I did I told the security guard that he should enforce social distancing where he can. Funny thing about the "security guard" is he was the only one with a mask on, but was never near the group of people....

I stopped in for a couple of items and then also remembered that I had a prescription to pick up here. I grabbed the few items I needed and headed to the pharmacy. There was a wait, which was no big deal until the clerk couldn't locate the prescription for the customer she was currently helping. Let's just say 15 minutes later, after everyone took a turn searching for the lost prescription, it was finally found. While watching the somewhat comical search, I had the opportunity to look around. I could not believe how disgusting the store was. There was trash everywhere. The displays were in disarray, items on the floor. Trash everywhere I looked. I was shocked. This isn't the way this store used to be. It's been a good minute since I've been in this location, maybe 6 weeks or so. How could things have changed so quickly? I'm going to find a new location to pick up my...
