Summer the sales person was the only good thing to report. Awesome person to work with. As for the business I will not be purchasing from this company ever again.
There is always a middle man at the store that DOES NOT take down notes after a phone call and they DO NOT communicate with delivery. My delivery has been postponed 4 times now as of today, and it has been 5 weeks since I purchased my things.
First I was told 2-3 weeks for delivery. I purchased on 12/13/23, and I called exactly 3 weeks later (01/03/2024) and was told I would receive my delivery in 2 days (01/05/24 which would have made it a Friday).
After getting no confirmation or calls or delivery, I called the store again on Monday (01/08/24) the next week.
The person on the phone informed me I was "scheduled for the upcoming Thursday" (01/11/24) and they didn't know about a delivery for me on 01/05/24 (Friday).
I informed them that I was supposed to have it delivered on Friday according to the sales rep at the store, then I also let them know that the upcoming Thursday would not work for me and I never would have agreed to it in the first place because of plans and purchases I made long before the phone call. I already bought Snowbowl tickets ahead of time before this phone call and I will be in Flagstaff. I would have never agreed to Thursday for that reason so I asked the rep what THEY were talking about because it was literally another random date they gave to me at this point.
I get a call from delivery while I am in Flagstaff on that Thursday (01/11/24) that they were 30 minutes away from getting to my apartment after I ALREADY CALLED THE STORE DAYS PRIOR TO THAT AND TOLD THEM THURSDAY WOULD NOT WORK FOR ME.
So, on Thursday (01/11/24) I told delivery on the phone this would not work, and that I was literally in Flagstaff at that very moment and that I already told someone on the phone from the store about it. I rescheduled for Monday (01/15/24).
I don't know why they are on the way to my apartment after I already called the store and we spoke about rescheduling from Thursday because I would not be present.
Today is that Monday(01/15/24), and no my stuff will not be delivered once again.
Once again no one seems to know "what I am talking about" and I have been rescheduled from my furniture being delivered today, to this coming Wednesday (01/17/24). I won't hold my breath.
01/17/2024- They delivered my furniture first thing this morning. The delivery men were extremely nice, and delivery dispatch even got on the phone with me to make sure I received everything. The mattress,the bunky board, and the couch are all new and in great condition. No bumps or bruises from transport from their facility to my apartment.
This is a shame, because if this company would just get better and own up to their scheduling they would be pretty awesome. People who work there need to learn how to send confirmation emails to everyone involved or have a quip everyone can type into so they can update each other on when deliveries are truly going to be. Read moreUPDATE: Do not make the mistake I did of going to this store. This has been a non-stop nightmare for 2 months now. The original couch set I selected was a Simmons brand for a total of $2,100. Both couches were broken. I had them replaced & those were broken as well.
They offered me in store credit. i should have taken my money & got out of there while I could. The store manager Alex tried to sell me some Ashley couches for $1650. Priced it online for $1100 after going to Ashley. Alex matched the offer. I selected not to get their warranty the "Guardian" as i heard bad things about it.
A month later & god knows how many phone calls, i have 1 couch, but still missing the loveseat as they claim to have ordered the wrong one. All sorts of promises to have it to me in a certain amount of time were lies.
Then, the finance part... I had to call synchrony & file a dispute as the original amount was still showing as owed. This is after several attempts with them to get it fixed. A lady calls me today & was very shady, still trying to charge me for their warranty. Promised a call back & as usual... Nope.
Steer clear of this place at all costs. Do yourself a favor & shop online or go to Ashley Furniture. This is only a brief summary of one of the worst consumer experiences I have EVER had. & still waiting on the other couch to be delivered.....
Original review: I stopped here a week ago & loved the couch set I saw. I spoke with Alex & he was great. I ended up leaving to think it over. Came back the next week after doing some research online & checking out a couple other furniture stores. But they had the couch set I wanted. When I walked in, however, I was immediately approached by a sales associate who, despite me telling them I was only looking that day, insisted on walking me through the entire store and insisting that if I didn't order today that they couldn't guarantee it later.
I was ultimately badgered and bullied into an order, and was not made aware that it would take (instead of 4-6 weeks) that it would be over 2 months before I would receive the product. When I called to cancel the order because it took so long, I learned that there was also a no cancellation part of the contract. My fault for not reading the contract closer, absolutely, but there is still a level of transparency that I expect as a consumer, and I did not receive it.
When the order finally did arrive in the states, I was told I would receive a call from the store to notify me and schedule a delivery, instead of calling to schedule a delivery, the scheduled one for me, during the work week - normal business hours on a Friday. Took me three days to get ahold of someone to reschedule the delivery for a day I could be home at.
And then, at this point it's neither here nor there, the manager added two therapeutic pillows that didn't arrive. Spending an obscene amount on a sofa that I needed a month prior to when it arrived and already getting such poor service, I didn't call and at this point I don't really care.
The product, I love. The couch I got is phenomenal and the only reason why this review is 2 stars versus a 1. Work on being less pushy, and be TRANSPARENT with people.
