Metroflex Gym — Attraction in Phoenix

One star simply because of the awful business etiquette and customer care. I've tried calling and leaving voicemails which no body apparently checks. Then the only other point of contact I could find was an email address on the website which also no body checks apparently. I no longer live in the area and need my membership I haven't used in months canceled and can't even do so because apparently no body is running the gym?! Then after spending an hour on the phone with your ABC Financial service who charges my bank account requires me to speak to a representative from the gym (Conveniently chosen by the gym vs letting the customer cancel over the phone) but I again cannot contact a representative of the gym due to NO BODY is running the gym. I specifically asked when I joined this gym if they would try to take money off of my card every month and they told me no. I said good because Planet Fitness does that and that is the reason I will not join them. I paid $50 for a first month membership in the second month was supposed to be $25. After going the first visit no one was very friendly, no one offered to help or spot me and no gym staff was anywhere to be found. I felt very uncomfortable during my first visit and never returned. Then I found out the next month my card was being charged against my knowledge. This gym is freaking awesome. At first I wasn't too sure if it was or wasn't but it is, lol. I got a tour of the gym and it brought back memories from when I was in the Army, when my unit would have a small gym in the bays near by. This gym is for people who are serious about working out; whether it be for bodybuilding competitions or to get fit. The members and employees are super cool, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I've met the owner and he's a really awesome guy and cares about the members who like to workout. I became a member a month ago but I haven't tried some of their services as of yet but will be doing so real soon.
