I’ve had more than my fair share of surgeries throughout my life in California and Arizona, but I’ve never experienced anything like the experience from Canyon Surgery Center. Usually the morning before any surgery as your waiting, it’s always so nerve wrecking. The atmosphere and staff took all that worrying away. I really loved that behind the scenes it’s equipped just like a hospital, but before you go back the waiting area , rooms, and checkin process takes all that hospital scene and fear away. The staff was very pleasant, very friendly, helpful and professional with me, as well as other patients, and their coworkers. Dr. Heath is such a wonder physician and surgeon, who I truly feel takes the time with her patients to make sure they are comfortable and ready to go without rushing. The anesthesiologist was also very pleasant and took an adequate amount of time with me, answering all questions, going over everything without making me feel like he was in a rush either. I also really like that they give you a card to choose a drink and snack for when you wake up in the recovery room, and when I got home and went through my checkout paperwork and discharge instructions, I found a thank you and get well card (never had that before). Like I said I’ve had more than my fair share of surgeries, but Canyon Surgery Center made me feel like an individual person, not another patient coming through. I just had surgery in November at Banner University, and the morning of surgery I was a wreck, and no one came to see me once I went back to pre-op for over 30 min, which didn’t help. When I was in recovery at BUMCP, that process was so rushed. I was freezing and in pain when I woke, and couldn’t even get a blanket because I was told I’m getting ready to leave soon. I left the hospital in pain, yes I know I just came out of surgery, but at BUMCP I feel like they didn’t even try and attempt to get it under control or take care of me. My sister who picked me up from BUMCP even mentioned the RN was upset and made her feel as if she took too long to come pick me up. The nurses at Canyon surgery center continued to ask me if I needed anything very frequently, they made sure my pain was under control during my recovery and before putting me in the car to go home and gave me very clear instructions and took the time to make sure I understood everything and wanted to answer all my questions. I did not feel as if I was being thrown out of Canyon Surgery Center, like I felt I was at Banner. The RN’s at Banner knew I was mad at how I was being treated, and gave me the excuse that they were understaffed that day, but I honestly feel thats not the patients problem to worry about or feel the effects of. At Canyon Surgery Center there were many nurses assisting each other in keeping patients comfortable and attended too, throughout my time there. I really wish all facilities could be set up like Canyon Surgery Center, would definitely recommend it anyone and definitely have no suggestions for them on...
Read moreHave been coming here for a good while once a month, some times twice - have always paid $280 for my tatt removal apts. ( Mind you - I am well into the $10k range for this tatt removal of the ex's name, since my initial consultation - I was told my appointments would always be $280 and never change until tattoo is fully removed ) Out of no where today I was told todays apt was $336. This place is great and spamming non stop to your emails and texts of apt reminders but no one has ever provided me with any update of the price change. The ladies pointed to a little tiny 4x6 sign that sits on the counter next to all of their advertisments of services they offer. Really? I dont mind the price change moving fwd but you would think they would have some kind of common courtesy to include this "as of Oct. 1st price change" idea of theirs into the non stop spam emails / texts.. it was hard to leave this review as i have been biting my tongue with reviews as i have had another sour taste run in with their billing lady.. in the end, the front desk girl i was dealing with called the billing lady and then told me i will pay the 280 today and there will be a remaining balance on my account for next time to make up the difference of todays charge of $336.. i said no thats not how this is going to go. I am going to pay the 280 today and there will be no remaining balance for todays apt on my account and i will have that in writing from your office. I do also have it all on voice recording for my records. She called the billing lady and the billing lady told her to run my card for the 280 and moving fwd my new amount to pay will be the $336. I hope they dont treat other good paying customers like this, especially ones who dont know how to speak up for them self etc. Thank you for taking the time to...
Read moreAll of us want the perfect brows, and I thought I was doing that when I went to my Microblading appointment five years ago. I ended up getting really bad Microblading done and the person who did it has been unresponsive and hasn’t helped me which is left me distressed, and frustrated. I then tried sailing removal treatment because I thought that was the only way to get rid of it and it was so painful, leaving my brows, bloody for a week and crying after the treatment. I was so hopeless for so long. Then, I went to Phoenix Skin and met Taylor, who does all of their laser treatments. Taylor, explain to me what my options were with the laser removal treatment and what we would need to do to get rid of my unwanted brows. I was also worried because I have very light blonde hair and fair skin and my brows turned gray with a really bad shape so it was super not what i wanted. Taylor was able to reassure me and calmed my worries and she lasered the unwanted color today and made me a new person, someone who is confident and feels more natural, and pretty. I am so thankful for her and the way she treated me today. If you have an unwanted tattoo or Microblading treatment, definitely go to Taylor because she actually cares and knows what she’s doing. I will forever be thankful to Taylor for helping me. Thank you,...
