Went there today, which took us close to 45 minutes to get there. We are from out of town and heard the place was good. Got there about 7:55pm. The hostess asked how many and I told her 5. She states that it would be a 35 minute wait but they stop serving food in 20 minutes so there’s no guarantee that we’ll get serviced. I asked why when there were 3 open tables. She then proceeds to say we couldn’t sit at the high tables because of the kids (which is understandable) she said that we couldn’t sit at the 2 middle tables because we weren’t a party of 6. So, I stated you think 2 parties of 6 or more will walk in here in 20 minutes while we waited for the other tables to become available. She says it’s our policy. I then said we’re paying customers and you’d rather refuse us service and wait to see if 12 people walked through the door. I asked for a manager, she went to the back then came back up front and said we’ll make an exception but it’s our policy. At this point my sister and the kids had already walked out. I went outside to see if she wanted to eat here, she said it’s fine. The kids were hungry and we drove 45 minutes. Walked back in and the staff is debating the whole situation. I said you know what, we don’t have to eat here and walked out. I hate to say this was racial profiling because we’d never experienced this before. Very very disappointed and hurt that our kids had to...
Read moreCame here to experience a new seafood place as we always dine in at hot n juicy. It wasn’t a very pleasant experience.
The waiting for the food and appetizers take forever, you wait more than ten minutes and we ordered the Calamari among other things The calamari tasted like rubber and has no seasoning. The potato fries tasted burnt and not fresh. When the food came in the seasonings for Cajun didn’t taste like Cajun and mainly salt, the rest of the bag was just buttered down seasoning and very little to no flavor and very oily as there’s hardly any flavor. The portions were a bit concerning, we questioned the pound of shrimp as it looked like a half to us and they said it was a pound, we are unsure but we are honestly pretty sure that they aren’t serving the right amount of what you pay for.
As for the worst part, for a party of 6 or more they charge you an AUTOMATIC tip. The tip for us was about 40$ dollars! And the food total was about 200-300$ which we find it very very overpriced compared to other places we’ve dined at for Seafood Boils this was the most expensive.
If you want a better and more afford experience with better food please try Hot n Juicy Crawfish at westgate! Trust me it’s amazing.

Read moreVisited this restaurant for the 1st time yesterday. It was hard to find at first because it's back from the road in a mini plaza with other businesses. The sign out front is small and hard to see until it's right in front of your car.
I drove around the block and parked my car.
I was nicely surprised when I walked in the door. It was well lit, had an open floor plan and comfortable booths.
Karla answered all my questions before I ordered and gave me good service. The Hibachi Chicken with white rice & corn on the cob arrived hot. The white meat chicken + Hibachi sauce was delicious! The special cream sauce for the rice was different, but also delicious! = 5 stars. Unfortunately my corn on the cob was slightly overcooked and chewy = 3 stars. Which is why my rating is 4 stars.
Overall the food was very good.
Since the Hibachi sauce is GLUTEN FREE, I got a Steak rice bowl with Hibachi sauce to go !
This is a great place to eat if you have Celiac disease, just stay away from any soy sauce or deep fried products and you'll be fine.
Thank you Karla for the quality service. Especially for thanking ME with eye contact, instead of a wall like most servers do!!
I live 10-15 miles away but...
