I would like to first of all say my first experience was not the best. However, the entire staff that served us was quick to not only give a resolution but make the next experience wonderful.

We came in about a month ago now for the first time ever. It was a Friday. We ordered an appetizer which was the CRISPY MOZZARELLA and then a pan pizza half STRAIGHT UP with added pepperonis & half WHITE FIG. The mozzarella came out cold we still ate them because the flavor was delicious. And our pizza was burnt.

I did not wind up eating the pizza and we quickly asked for the manager. She was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about how this was handled. Our bill was comped and we were given a gift card to keep us as customers in attempt to try again.

We did venture over next door so I could still get something for dinner. I was thrilled with this experience as well. At the time I didn't know Joyride is also owned by the same parent company. While we were there I had explained what had happened at dinner. Our server had comped a dessert which I thought was so nice. When we were using him what other good places to try were in the area he mentioned all of the restaurants under the company. I believe his name is Carlos. This is an outstanding employee, truly. I didn't realize what he was doing when making the suggestions until looking at the gift card and seeing all the places he listed were owned and operated by one entity.

I enjoyed the food at both restaurants and did go back to Federal the following weekend we ordered the same pizza and it was much better. I was so happy with this experience and I will be returning over and over. I'm thankful you have staff at each business that delivers care and upholds the value of a...

I'm going to have to color outside of the lines for this review, as it opposes some of my other reviews. With Federal Pizza focusing their menu around pizza, a 5 star rating should only apply to the pizza.

I'm assuming the reason Federal Pizza doesn't sell pizza by the slice, or any other sizes, is because they want to be able to operate like MOD or Little Ceasar's with a template pizza size, but then include actual quality ingredients that make the $18 price tag worth it. Normally the size of the pizza vs the cost would have immediately dropped their rating to a 4, but with the flavors and quality, it has reached a 5 star rating for me, but just barely.

Eating the first slice earned 4 stars for me. There is almost no sauce, and the crust to topping ratio was off. The crust was slightly denser than what one would expect, but not overly so. The closest comparison I can make to this pizza is Floridino's over in Chandler.

The second slice allowed my taste buds to recognize a subtle under-tone of white wine in the sauce, similar to the authentic Rosati's pizza in the north side of Phoenix/Peoria. Because of how subtle the sauce flavor is, I can understand why the pizza lacked much flavor, and relied mostly on the crust and toppings for flavor. In order to appreciate the sauce, you would likely need to order a regular cheese pizza.

I also tried the cheesy garlic bread, and it was definitely the best version I've ever had. The marinara sauce was also spiced with red pepper flakes, so it added another layer of flavor to the already great garlic bread.

I will likely be returning, mostly because I believe Federal Pizza's menu has more to offer than the two...

I always make it a point to make the effort to rate restaurants that impress me. I believe restaurant personnel need to approach every person that walks through their front door as a client that is going to make the effort to put in a rating on them. The mystery is you never know who it's gonna be, so be welcoming, kind & courteous to everyone. So many times because of an event that runs late and maybe I didn't get a chance to eat before the event and I'm starving but at 9pm at night many restaurants are closing. Much to my surprise one evening I googled pizza restaurants and was surprised to find FEDERAL PIZZA open til 11 p.m. I have never been there. I have however tried all the surrounding restaurants in the past. My first time to FEDERAL PIZZA I didn't even enter the restaurant through the front door. We couldn't figure out where the front door was from the direction I had parked my car, so "YES" we entered through the back door. The moment we walked in we were greeted so kindly and a table was immediately cleared for us to sit as we waited a short moment like idiots in clearly a no waiting zone. Now this is about 9:30pm. We were waited on immediately. We got our wonderful meal and also enjoyed their drink selection specials. It's been about three weeks, and I'm barely getting to this review, but that's the kind of lasting impression this restaurant made on me. I have been looking forward to returning and possibly taking advantage of their Tuesday Night special after 8pm. So bottom line Food was great, drink was great and...

First expirance there and I loved it. We where greeted promptly and decided to sit at the bar then take the inside and outside seating. It was a tad cold so bring a jacket but after the manager saw that we were cold he turned off the fan above us making it the perfect temp. We were helped by a lovely blonde bartender that happily greeted us and served us quickly . The food was outstanding we got the bufflo wings first they were fried twice with an amazing crunch and just enough sauce. The homemade blue cheese and ranch were out of this world some the tastiest dips iv had in reastraunts. Next was the pizza the size complements the amount of grease so it is not floppy but has a little chewy crust in the middle and crispy as you move toward the crust but very airy . The toppings had a very fresh taste tomatoes where crisp the cheese was outstanding and the pepperoni was very unique it has a slight saltiness to it more then regular pep but boy did it stand out delicious. I had gotten the Margherita pizza with pepperoni. The ice tea btw was amazing not to sweet but not to blunt bland I believe the sweetness come from the mangos and orange that seemed to be brewed with the tea. Overall I loved my experience and will come back I recommend this to any pizza or wing lover. Just gotta say again how great the staff the general manager and our bartender was amazing all around and please try the wings best in Arizona so far. 10/10
