The Local Barber and Shop — Attraction in Phoenix

I moved to Phoenix a few months ago and I have visited two other barber shops in my attempt to find a new barber. I’ve been disappointed each time. The first two just were not up to snuff. Finally, I found The Local Barber and Shop!

They are a barber that’s authentic and knows what they are doing! Trust me, I’ve been to barbers all over the country from New York to Philly to Vegas to Seattle to Salt Lake and I am telling you, I am very particular.

With that said, this is now my second time there and I am ecstatic with my cut, attention, and time spent with me. Anthony took care of me and was spot on. I will be returning for as long as I am in Phoenix! The other barber was also top notch as well from what I saw.

Clearly, they have standards and experience. Now, for me, Phoenix is lacking when it comes to quality barber shops like The Local Barber and Shop. There are a lot that try to be like this, but are not, it’s just that simple. The Local Barber Shop are the real the deal and I would say the the best in the valley. Further, I’ve seen these one star reviews for this shop about walk-ins and not being able to be seen.

Rule of thumb, when it comes to a high quality barber shop, always make an appointment. This is not a Supercuts. Completely different service model. You need to be respectful of their time and those customers who’ve planned ahead. So personally I discount these negative reviews for what they are. And guys like me who make their appointments know what I mean. Now, that’s just my opinion, so take it for what it is. The Local Barber and Shop is a gem in Phoenix. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a serious cut. Keep up the good work...

I’ve been going to Grace for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier! She has an amazing ability to know exactly what will look good on me, and she’s the reason I felt confident enough to change up my hairstyle.

On top of her incredible skills, Grace is just a joy to be around. We chat nonstop during my appointments—it feels like catching up with a friend every time. It’s such a comfort to have someone you can trust and talk to while they work their magic.

First off, I would like to comment on the two people who came there late and didn't get a cut. How can you judge a place just by the stupidity of yourself? It's called, CALLING AHEAD. Anyway my friend and I go there and it is hands down the best cut I have had from a barber. They take their time and are very meticulous. If you're trying to go there for a quick cut, you're in the wrong place. Go to Sports Clips. If you want a true barber shop environment and a great cut then call ahead and make an appointment.
