V's Barbershop - North Central Phoenix — Attraction in Phoenix

Used to see cooper all the time. He was great but moved away. After getting a bad haircut from someone else there, I set an appointment for the next weekend. I walk into the place at 2:05. At that point I already see someone in the chair with jessie the guy I was supposed to have. The kid at the desk looks at the schedule with the appointment time and starts talking about this policy they have where if you are 7 minutes late you turn into a walk in and loose your appointment. Not to mention I walked in the door at 2:05 with someone already in the chair, but I show him my phone screen with the time still showing 2:06. He just smiles and says he doesnt know what to tell me. I'm not waiting over an hour for my haircut when I went out of my way to set up the appointment. Done with this place. I get I was late(due to traffic blocking the parking lot entrance) but if you're going to have a ridiculous policy like that you might as well actually follow it and not try to pull a fast one over customers who have been coming there for...

What was looking to be a first and last experience turned into a pleasant experience! I originally had an app with another barber (won’t name since I don’t know the reason for him leaving me hanging was) at 8:00am. It was 8:10 and he hadn’t showed up so I asked who seemed to be the manager if this guy was going to show he said he didn’t know why the guy wasn’t at work yet but he would get me take care of right away. Noah (another barber) had just walked in to work and after being briefed of my situation took care of me with no hesitation. Usually I wouldn’t sweat running a little behind but because this time I had another commitment right after it was crucial I got out on time. Thanks Noah for the great hair cut, great convo, and super chill vibe! I was able to get a quality hair cut just in time for the 4th of July weekend, get out on time, and overall very satisfied. So lately unfortunately I have to shop around for a new Barber of 6 years I'm always cut my hair on my saw this place about a mouth ago and after reading the reviews and just the pictures there was somthing abiut this place that I had to check out. Today finally went, walked and grllwas grested right way, great atmosphere. Gentalmen sat me down ask what type of cut, I explained my situation that my previous bar at just did my hair, but I did tell him it was a short taper fade and like 1/2 on side, and again I get it wassent the best discription but come on try to figure somthing out with me your a barber, not good to make someone fell uncomfortable, so I said I would go somewere else cause I didn't know what else to do.
