I finally decided to try the Bacon PB&J Hamburger at Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers after nine years, and let me tell you—why did I wait so long! I walked in around lunchtime to a clean, well-maintained restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. It wasn’t crowded, but what really impressed me was the cleanliness. As I sat at the bar area, I couldn’t help but notice how spotless everything was—even behind the TVs, there wasn’t a speck of dust. Heather, my waitress, was polite, attentive, and incredibly efficient. She checked on me regularly while also keeping busy cleaning and organizing the bar fridges with the bar manager. I appreciated how proactive the team was, using the downtime to prepare for later in the day. It’s clear they take pride in their work and treat the place as if it were their own. I started with a Kilt Lifter beer, which was poured perfectly—cold, fresh, and refreshing. For an appetizer, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls, which came out crispy and golden brown. They were packed with flavor, and the chipotle ranch dip added the perfect touch. Then came the star of the show: the Bacon PB&J Hamburger, cooked to perfection by Chef Tyrese. I asked for it well done, and it had just the right charred flavor without being dry. The sweet and savory combination was a game changer—I can’t believe I waited so long to try it! While I didn’t explore the entire restaurant, I did notice the bar manager taking a checklist into the bathrooms, which further demonstrated the team’s commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail. This restaurant doesn’t just care about its customers; they treat it like their own. Between the delicious food, outstanding service, and exceptional cleanliness, I’ll definitely be back soon. If you haven’t tried the Bacon PB&J Hamburger yet, you’re missing out!

We were given a $50 gift card for our anniversary to this restaurant. We decided to give this place a try. I did like that you could seat yourself. We were acknowledged within minutes of sitting down. We ordered our drinks, but I was already not okay with the Arnold Palmer I ordered. It tasted too watery to me. I didn't ask if they brewed fresh tea or not, but it tasted like tap tea. I was so excited to try their gold mustard wings, but when I took the first bite, it did not taste like gold mustard. It tasted like BBQ sauce instead. I had a choice of half or full order. I ordered a half order, which was only 5 wings for $11 (over priced) and I tasted blood of the chicken. I could only eat 3 wings. Oh!!! It came with ranch, and it was filled only halfway and ended up ordering another side of it and was charged for an additional 50 cents. I thought that was a rip off as well. You can see it in the picture. However, the garlic parmesan fries did taste really good. We ended up eating it all. Another overpriced dish for $11 as well. We ended paying close to $47 plus tip and I left hungry. My meal alone was $25 with the drink and leaving hungry after paying that price was a big disappointment. Just saying ... So, the overall experience was just okay for bar food. We will not be returning. Our server had to be told to do refills instead of keeping an eye on our table. They weren't busy enough to be used as an excuse not to notice we had empty drinks. Best of luck ...

The family and I went to watch Sunday night football and enjoy dinner. The food was delicious like always. We started with the Buffalo Chicken dip and we inhaled it! Yes even my kids loved it! I tried the 1000 Island Burger for the first time and it was sooooo good! The amount of provolone cheese was amazing! My kids loved the chicken tenders, so that's a winner! The only thing I didn't appreciate this evening was that the waitress informed us she was leaving the check so whenever we were ready, but this was only 5 minutes after we got our food. Why would you have your servers do that? I had an alcohol beverage and was watching the football game, how do you know I didn't want another drink? We went even asked if we wanted another drink. Which I did but I felt like I was being rushed out of there so chose not to. The service was good up until that point. I hope this isn't a regular practice.

It’s hard to know where to start w this review. I had gone to another CB&CB on Indian School last week (first time) and it was so good and delicious that I convinced our group to go again tonight...just a different location. We arrived and asked if the patio was available and if there were heaters. Manager offered us the side patio that no one else had been sitting and the heaters were working. So we thought WOW awesome how nice of them—which it was. It nice not sitting right on 7th street and having heaters and being secluded from other people considering COVID. However that seclusion then also meant that no dedicated server for the section and that effected service. Andi was our server...and let me just say that she was very sweet and friendly. I don’t 100% blame the service issues on her...other than I don’t think we were necessarily close to her inside section so we just kept getting forgotten. From time we sat down we pretty quickly got menus and immediately ordered some drinks from the bar and waters. Waters came pretty quickly, but the 2 margaritas and chocolate milk took about 15-20 min to come. In that time we weren’t asked if we wanted apps or any questions etc. (ps we knew everything we wanted to order by this time). I ordered a house margarita w Chile salt—same as last week at the other location—which was sooo good and delicious and one of the reasons I wanted to go back tonight. Well the first one was overload of sweet n sour mix and just tasted like syrup. I told her as she was still there and she apologized and i tried to explain that last week was not made w sweet n sour and this tasted totally diff. Decided to try making it again w just lime juice. Before we could get another word in and say we would like to order apps...or her asking if we wanted to put apps in...she took the drink and hurried off (again bc it seemed she was far from her section and trying to get back to her other tables) Another few min went by and she came back with another gross drink. This time just lime juice that was sour and bitter over ice. She was again very sweet and wanted to fix it...so we tried the home run w/o grenadine. Still not the same as last week, but somewhat drinkable now. FINALLY now she asked to take the order....we have prob been there now about 30 min. We ordered mozzarella sticks, fried pickles for apps, then 2 burgers and kids meals. Not too long after we placed the order, the apps arrived. They were hot and delicious. Before we had any time to eat and enjoy them...the 2 burgers came out about 3-5 min later. So now the table is overwhelmed w food. Kids food then came a few min later. The Mac n cheese is just very very soft noodles w flavorless cheese. And the fruit was fermented and inedible. At this point I felt there was no point in complaining anymore and we just ate to eat and get out of there. Andi checked on us 1-2 times and then brought boxes and the check at the end. She came to see if we had put a cc in check, and when I told her we paid online...she offered a bag for the boxes and after 5 min waiting just gave up and left. She was busy at her other tables clearing plates etc.

Never saw the manager again. The host just stood there watching me hold the boxes and didn’t say bye or anything. The food was mostly good except the fruit and Mac n Chz (perhaps just the kids version) and I’d give the food 5 stars expect for that it all basically hit the table at the same time and unable to enjoy it properly and it then got cold and overwhelming. Not to mention it took 30 min even place an order in first place. We got there at 645 and didn’t leave until 830.

Again Andi was a very sweet server and I’d say if circumstances were different of not being put in a section wo dedicated server the only part that would have been bad would have been the horrible drinks. Alas...it wasn’t the case and the result was a not so great experience and mostly...

My wife and I used to go out to eat at the Buffalo Wild Wings on North Lane in Phoenix, but the service there was so routinely poor that last February we decided to try this restaurant instead. We had a wonderful experience, so we went back a few weeks later and the second time the service was very poor, so we hadn't been back since.

The other day we decided to return here again, and it was even worse than the previous visit. We seated ourselves and it took around 10 minutes for our server to show up, even though the restaurant was very quiet. I ordered a beer and saw the bartender pour it and set it at the server's station, but it sat there for at least another 10 minutes until finally our server brought it to our table.

After that our server completely disappeared. After finishing my beer, I wanted to order a second beer, but since she never returned I finally just went up the bar to order it and pay for it there. The woman working at the bar literally snapped at me that I had to order it through my server, and walked away!

I meekly returned to my table and waited to be noticed. Still our server didn't come, so I finally flagged down a different server to order the beer and some food. Again, I got pushback that I had to order through my own (nonexistent) server. This time I insisted the order be placed, so this different server begrudgingly said she'd relay my order to my own server. After that, it still took a long time until the items were finally brought to us.

The terrible service we received ruined our evening, and we will never be returning. Please do not patronize this establishment. Do not reward these poorly-run...
