Franklin Commons — Attraction in Phoenixville

Franklin Commons was absolutely our dream venue. We had a night affair in November with 215 people. When we were searching for venues, most places were nice but just mostly ballrooms with no character. When we went to see Franklin Commons it was SO different, so off the beaten path, and Kim Savino with Drexelbrook was sincere, flexible, professional, and just all around super sweet. She is fast to respond to your inquiries during your planning, and really truly puts her heart and soul into making your wedding dreams come true.

Our night exceeded every expectation we had. The Franklin Hall ballroom was transformed into exactly how we imagined but even prettier in the evening light. The bistro is spacious and has a really need industrial feel that all of our guests were complimenting. We got married in the art gallery because it was too cold for the courtyard, and Kim and her team helped us transform that into a gorgeous ceremony spot. Everyone raved about all of the food, especially our entrees, the Crab Cake and Short Ribs.

The staff was beyond incredible. Fatima and Sheila (our matre de and Bridal Captain) were so accommodating, and so pleasant and professional, my husband and I felt like all we had to worry about doing that night was eat, drink, and dance the night away, because Kim and her staff had it under control. We hosted our daughters wedding at Franklin Commons in July 2025. I can't say enough about this experience. It started with our initial meeting with Kim, who made us feel so comfortable with her expertise and experience in the wedding industry. The venue space was unique, had so many things included-like beautiful tables, chairs, linens, spaces for cocktail area as well as an outdoor space for a ceremony. Working with Kim & Hannah was amazing. Communication was well received and questions answered within hours. These two ladies helped my daughters vision for her wedding come to life without missing a beat. Additionally the food-Was plentiful, hot & delicious. The presentation was beautiful as well. The servers were eager, kind, pleasant & on point throughout the night. Our daughter and her husband had their own point person who made sure they had everything they needed throughout the reception. He paid attention to every detail, including each of their favorite drinks. The bartending service was excellent and guests were served with efficiency and ease. Our guests went out of their way to tell us how excellent the food and service was at this event. Honestly there is nothing I would have changed for this event & my daughter and her husband agree. This is a review I posted with Wedding Wire. My wife and I had our wedding reception at Franklin Commons via Drexelbrook on 3/18/2016. Our ceremony was off-site.

We could not have been happier with the event space. Franklin Commons doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it is full of eclectic taste and customization. The simplest touches can turn the space from interesting to intimate. We opted to use the art gallery (featuring works from local artists) for the cocktail hour and held the receiving line under a gazebo between the two spaces.

About the service, you need to understand that Drexelbrook is a very well-known and well-regarded caterer in the Philadelphia area. Franklin Commons is their secondary "alternative" location. However, this doesn't mean the service was stepped down. Even though we asked the staff to be a little more casual, we received the same impressive white-glove service you'd receive at their main location. Kim Savino and the entire staff were easy to work with. They remained professional, but were able to engage everyone personally.

We would absolutely recommend Franklin Commons and the staff of Drexelbrook to anyone interested in an interesting venue. At the very lease, get yourself a tour and see for yourself. The space, service, and food...
