We had been meaning to try this place for so long; we finally got there and will DEFINITELY be going back!!! From the outside, you don't realize how nice it is on inside; a very cool vibe and super friendly staff. Cocktail list was a blend of some standards plus some creative options. We had the basket of arancini, risotto balls stuffed with shrimp and fried calamari. Both were excellent...so often calamari is tough and chewy but this was very tender. We both had one of the specials, which was striped bass, stuffed with crabmeat on a bed of risotto...very flavorful and tender. One of the reasons we'll be returning is because the menu has a lot of the traditional italian standbys, which we love, but they also have some creative and inventive options so everyone can find something they will enjoy!

This place is absolutely amazing. About a year ago, we were on our way home from a trip and decided to stop for dinner. Since we were passing through Phoenixville, we thought it would be a good spot to explore. We came across this restaurant, and my husband suggested we try it since I’m such a fan of Italian food. The meal was perfect, and from that night on, we’ve made it a habit to come here at least once a month, even though we live in King of Prussia. Every time we visit, we try something new, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is always incredibly positive and welcoming. I absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back again next month!

Our experience here was nothing short of spectacular, from the customer service to the creativity and quality of the meal. I took my dad here for his birthday. We sat outside because he has health problems (covid risk) and felt totally safe. He ordered the seafood soup and I got the gnocchi with pork cheeks. His meal was packed with huge shrimp, mussels, a large rich filet and I don’t even know what else. My gnocchi was out of this world. I was so impressed with the quality of ingredients. The wine was great too - I ordered the Cabernet, the cheapest on the menu, and it was delicious. The staff were soooo friendly and attentive. A wonderful experience.

DISHONEST STAFF ALERT I’m giving one star because the food is excellent. Unfortunately I left my bag there the other night. When I came to look for it, none of the staff could find it. I filed a police report because my wallet inside had all of my rent in cash. Then, a couple days later, I called back just in hopes that it’s been found or returned. The manager Renato says my purse is there and asked me what’s inside it. I told him and he said everything but my wallet was present. I said, why was this purse not found a couple days ago when I was there? He says it was in a separate spot that they keep things, not the lost and found. I said OK so this is a place that only your staff has access to? Because if so, one of them must have taken my wallet. The manager Renato starts getting agitated at my conclusion (a fairly obvious conclusion, is it not?) and says it could have been taken out before somebody stowed it away. I asked do you have cameras? He says not on the room it was in, but on the dining room. So I said ok please check those cameras for me. He agrees to, and says he will call the staff who were there that night. When I arrived to collect my bag and see if any answers were found, he says that the cameras do not record, and he will not accuse his staff of stealing. I said I’m not here to accuse anyone, but it’s the obvious answer. He starts in on, “how do I even know this wallet was in here with all this money? How do I know you’re not making it up?” And I said well, I did file a police report stating it was in there a few days ago, and I really have no reason to make all of this up. But I suppose the police will have to find out for me. Word to the wise, don’t bring anything valuable in here.

The one highlight I will state besides the food, is that upstairs at the hotel, Jessica was very helpful at the front desk. Once I was exasperated with the manager downstairs, I spoke to her and she...

OVERALL...FINE. LOBSTER/CRAB RAVS...NOT SO MUCH.

1st time visit,. Came here tonight on the promise of a delicious and memorable lobster/crab ravioli dinner. First, a steep and lengthy set of old stairs suggestive of an outdoor entrance to a basement, got you there. No elevator. Infirm or older folks be advised. Setting: prominent long bar backed by stpne wall and doing brisk business. Overall, nice look and vibe to the whole restaurant. Staff - all friendly, attentive, unpretentious, --the kind of folks you want in a restaurant. The menu was a one page affair offering the usual expectations from an italian restaurant: various salads, mussels, clams, calamari, lotsa' pastas, meats like chick, veal, ONE steak (NY Strip) and various pesce: e.g., whole fish, salmon, whitefish, shrimp etc. Pricing: reasonable, ranging $10 for meatballs or flatbreads to $29 for aforementioned steak. Most dins were in the low to mid $20 range.

Sadly, the lobster and crab ravioli (my reason for going there) crashed and burned and fell seriously flat. The rav pasta shells themselves and the truffle brandy cream sauce were tasty. In fact, quite fine. . However, the guts of it all - the alleged lobster and crab meats-- proved to be a tasteless mish-mash of something perhaps forgotten and left in a blender too long and whizzed around to a pulp. I deconstructed 4 or 5 raviolis to find a sort of lifeless paste with no hint of anything remotely resembling, tasting or smelling like either lobster or crab. Nuff said!...

My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner. The person that we checked in with was great and had our table ready before anticipated. That is where the great service ended. We were starving so we ordered an appetizer, a bottle of wine and dinner all at the same time. The appetizer came out fairly quickly. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. Thirty to forty minutes after finishing our appetizer-so approximately an hour after we placed our order-we still had not received our dinner. Meanwhile, we were watching people all around us who arrived significantly later than us receive their food. Our waiter stopped by once during this waiting period and said that our food would be out soon-yet he never came back with food, he left our dirty appetizer plates on the table-despite repeatedly walking past our table. We had to stop another staff member to tell them to cancel our order because we were waiting so long and didn’t want it at that point. To add insult to injury, we were seated outside and it started to rain. Had we gotten our food in a reasonable time, we would have been able to eat and leave before getting caught in the rain. Then, when the waiter came back with the check, he did not acknowledge what happened or provide any explanation or apology. It was terrible! We have called the restaurant and left a message. We have...
