Device Doctor (One stop shop for all of your phone needs) — Attraction in Pineville

This business is very shady. First off, they are not an Apple authorized provider and DO NOT use Apple parts. Do not let them touch your iDevice, you will regret it. Second, they do not stand behind their work or parts. They advertise a 90 day warranty on their parts and labor. I went in with a cracked iPhone screen, they replaced it with a strange aftermarket screen that never functioned properly and charged nearly $130. Then less than 45 days later the screen just stopped working.

I went in and asked for my money back per their warranty so I could go to an Apple Store and get it replaced. The owner instructed his staff person to not refund me, and I confronted them about their practices in store. First he offered me 60% of the paid price back, then reneged and only wanted to give me $40 back to "not make a scene". I walked out with more than that but still not the full refund.

Steer clear of this place. They are thieves, do bad work, and have people who are not trained technicians working on your phone. They don't stand behind their work and I would compare them to a payday loans place in terms of ethics.

Don't throw your money away, and especially if you have an Apple device, just get the insurance from Apple or your credit card and always deal with the Apple Certified...

Normally I would give a 5 star but today 8/8/2023 the worker asked me to come back in an hour. I did. Phone not done or even started. The Asian owner told me Saturday that it should only take 30 minutes to fix - he is not here today - the other guy gets upset because it’s almost 2 hours later and I need my phone. The white guy catches an attitude acts like I’m crazy but he is saying he is just starting on my phone nah y’all quoted me a price tried to change it - now he saying I tried not to break anything- just give me my phone back and stop the lying - oh then said I can put it back together you can bring it back when you got time.. really after almost 2 hours …nasty… but cool…messed with my cameras and all ..wasting time .he took my whole phone apart on purpose..oh now he texting someone..oops texting again .. rigging it up now.. wow.. cutting and pasting 5 x’s..still not done with my phone .,,.will not be back ..it’s a screen .. wow..today will be my last - the white guy with the beard was rude -...

I got my iPad fixed because it was water damage. It took about three weeks or more but I got it fixed and they said that they couldn’t recover it because the battery was damaged and my iPad was never cracked before but when I got it back it had cracked on it. and I’ve been sitting in here at my house for hours, trying to turn my iPad back on and it won’t work, but they said they are able to fix it but they didn’t fix it and when I got my iPad back today, the screen is lifting off a little bit and I don’t know what it is but I don’t think they did a good job at fixing it because it had a crack on it and I don’t recommend...
