Wasabi Sushi And Veggie Grill — Restaurant in Pineville

I don’t live in the Charlotte area but drove up from SC for school uniform shopping. When it was lunch time, I decided to see what was popular locally and looked up top rated restaurants on Google. I found Wasabi Sushi pretty quickly & thought I’d try it since it was rated 4.8.

I was so glad I did! The sushi is EXCELLENT! (My favorites so far are the Crunchy Shrimp roll and Golden California roll.) The next time, I brought my husband who agreed it may be the best sushi we have ever had. And the price is less than many other sushi places! We paid $9 for a 12 piece roll, and about $6.50 for an 8 piece roll. At a place closer to our home, it would cost around $13 for an 8 piece roll and it just isn’t as good as Wasabi.

I just moved to Charlotte and decided to hit the mall and I craved sushi. The sushi place is right in front of the food court, very easy to find. Sushi is my favorite food, and I've definitely had my fair share of sushi so believe me when I say this is one of the cleanest, customer-friendly sushi places I've seen in a long time. The guy there is so nice and you watch him make the sushi right in front of you. It's fresh and very well made. Prices are also very very good! For a 12 piece roll It's about 6 or 7 dollars! Best sushi place I have tried here in Charlotte hands down, let me tell you why. Delicious sushi, friendly & timely service, scrumptious bubble tea (I personally recommend their taro), and all of this at a phenomenal price. I got 32 pieces of sushi (with protein in them) and two bubble teas for under $50😱 AND the quality and flavor of all of it was completely uncompromised by the price! Don't let the fact that this a sushi stand at the mall fool you, this is 100% one of the best places to get amazing and affordable sushi here...
