Qualitea (Pinole Location) — Attraction in Pinole

TERRIBLE! DONT COME HERE. there are too many other boba places to try. Went here 3 times first time was great, 2nd time was ok and by the 3rd visit it was horrible. One of my drinks tasted like it had powder not mixed in very thick and goopy, another had hard chucks of taro paste. While the other two lacked flavor. These are the same drinks each time but made completely different every time. They have a sign that says they’ll remake them but when I spoke with the manager he said he would not remake them or give a refund. I never wanted a refund just my drinks remade. He proceeded to tell me he couldn’t remake them but offered me a free topping. Even though I have a voicemail from the employee Mae saying they could remake it. QualiTea has quickly become one of my fave bubble tea spots. It’s a definitely a hidden gem in Pinole. The customer service is always friendly and helpful whether you decide to order from them directly at the counter or from their in-store tablet. Drinks are prepared in a timely manner and always taste terrific.

QualiTea has a good variety of beverages available from their menu or you can make your own drink. I recommend any of their sparkling drinks. The prices are really good for what you get, and the quality is always top notch. The tea is very flavorful, the pearls are chewy, sweet and not too big . Okay the first few times but extremely unpleasant the last time. Owner is condescending and creepily too polite. Dude thinks it’s okay to talk down to customers who make accidental mistakes ordering from the sf location (admitted we weren’t the only ones ordering from the wrong location). Quick google search will show you that the sf location is the only one that pops up first when searching ‘qualitea’.
