My family loves coming to Schlanger Park. Not only does it have the newest and nicest play equipment in town, there are quite a few other nice features there and coming as the city of Pittsburg continues updates and additions. Four tennis courts and a full size basketball court that are brand new. A children's pool and staffed lifeguard 3 days a week in the afternoon on the weekends. They do refill the pool each day. The city just added a small garden near the play area and pool with seating. Pittsburg is also adding 2 dog parks near the skate park. But wait, there is more! Frisbee golf course, 2 soccer fields with a gazebo between them, and sand volleyball courts compliment the 2 large covered eating areas with charcoal grills that can be rented out. The pool can be rented out too for $50 for 2 hours. Fun for the whole family in this large park with paths, a creek, and open areas to...

My son is tough and when he screamed in pain and his legs gave out, I immediately picked him up, ran to my car, and took him to the ER at Via Christi. Pittsburg has dodged my calls every day I have called, so here’s my warning to parents. This swing could very well still be broken, and who knows how many are not being serviced. This could be you or worse, so if the City does not care, I’ll...

It's so big that the dogs dont feel penned in and any size dog is free to run together. There's even a pond for the dogs to play in. The walking trails must be a good mile long or more so it's an exercise park for the owners too.
A couple things need fixed here in Pitt. My small Chorkie can go right through the back sides of both entry gates and into the parking lot. There are also areas between the 2 sides of the park that she...
