ALDI — Attraction in Pittsburgh

A good sized aldi. clean with friendly and helpful staff members.. close by for a lot of people. We go there frequently. The aldi brand cookies are great. They always have products targeted to various holidays. Today they had foods to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

Update: while I'm still again of Aldi, I have to point out that their beef, and sometimes chicken, are third rate. We bought a skirt steak to make fajitas and I trimmed it really well, removing the silver skin, etc. after cutting it into thin strips across the grain, it was inedible. You literally could not bite thru it. Tough as an old boot. So skip the beef. So many better places to get it in Pittsburgh.

While the staff is always helpful, there are customers who are just terrible. The cashiers are so quick that you can't just walk away, when you are on line, to get something you forgot. It holds up everyone. The cashiers are timed, so it negatively impacts them, too. And talking on the phone while they unload their carts with one hand. Just so inconsiderate. I try to go there when it's pretty empty so I can avoid...

Stores at great place to shop for the price. But I wonder about the quality of vegetables in the meat. I think that they are GMOs. IRG to do the work. But other than that I've come across some really good sales on household items and wonderful plan especially with the summer season this that was just here. Anyway I do believe that Aldi has the worst customer service ever. I do believe that if you try to return something they have no problem returning it but as far as any knowledge about anything or trying for Me of anything or any new cells any special Bargains. Don't look for that... And their knock off $2 items or just what they are knock-offs. They're not that great and I don't find them anyway comparative to Giant Eagle or kuhns. Be wise when you shop at these places where they give you these great discounts. The food may look good the quality is way below what us as everyday consumers should be...

We tried curbside pickup for the first time, and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. We got home with 20% of the stuff we ordered no where to be seen; clearly one of the bags from our order was missing. When we called the store to try to correct the issue, we were faced with a recording that said that this Aldi has no phone number "in order to save on costs." Are you freaking kidding me? You don't have a phone, AT A PLACE OF BUSINESS, and AT A TIME WHEN FACE TO FACE CONTACT IS NEARLY PROHIBITED?? This could have been an easy problem to resolve, but instead I had to spend half a day online explaining my issue to some person on the other side of the country, and guess what?
