Lucky for me I planned to be in town the same weekend that the course hosted an event in cooperation with EASTSIDE GOLF and DICKS SPORTING GOODS. The course was immaculate and very warm and inviting. Special guest Detroit Mackenzie’s Notre Dames STEELERS LEGEND JEROME BETTIS made the occasion even more special. Shout out to EASTSIDE GOLF and there amazing apparel and mission.

Not going to lie, the course needs some work. I applaud the staff and first tee but this is a dangerous golf course to play with all of the road crossings and holes playing too close to one another. Course conditions are very poor as well and you are hitting off of mats at the tees. But the views of downtown and Oakland are great! Just be aware of what you are getting into.

Super fun course. Well maintained considering the volume they see, also just gives you the hometown vibe even though you’re right smack dahntahn. I was running late and the guys at the clubhouse had no problem accommodating my friend and me. Also has beautiful views of the city. If you love smacking hybrids and irons, this is the spot! Haha.

I grew up playing and learning the game on this local Pittsburgh course in the 80’s and have many fond memories of its old layout. I learned how to play every conceivable hilly lie, blind shot, off center stance, imperfect lie, etc etc. And whatever it may have lacked in sophistication and polish, it more than made up for in the skills it forced me to learn, and which helped me tremendously over the years on other courses. I played the new course the last time I was home and enjoyed that they’ve kept a few of the old eighteen in the nine. Times change and maybe people expect more from every layout but this is, and will always be, my home course. Thank you for all the memories and the lessons learned about golf, and life, in those wonderful...

Not a bad place as long as you understand what it's supposed to be and what it isn't. A humble course affording enjoyable views of Oakland. There are some short two-shotters less than 300 yds that are driveable. Yes, the tee boxes are range mats but this is a way of keeping the price low and making golf accessible in an urban area. If you're looking to treat yourself to a lavish golf experience, this ain't the place. But it's a good track for working on your game, getting in a quick 9 during lunch break, and playing a cheaper course than your more...

Played this track all my life. Wont ever forget the first time i watched a well struck linedrive feed lovingly onto the green on one. Excited for the new building. Some really good looks at the city on this course. Time for proper tee boxes on all holes and some markers out on course. Always thought it would be great as a 9-hole course. Thankful to have course that's close. And the maintenance has definitely improved over the years.Likely to keep trying for that hole in one on number...
