Lotus Food Company

As I walked into the entry way I smelled turning fish. This may have only been a negative odor to my western sensibilities so keep in mind that this review is from a white man's point-of-view. Those of you looking for a Whole Foods atmosphere with swanky lighting and hipster stockers, you ought to avoid this place. If you are looking for a traditional Asian market stuffed to the gills with any sort of Asian rarity you might (or might not) desire, this is the shop you are seeking. I like to peruse the exotic sauces and find something that looks like it will be painful. The vegetables looked fresh enough despite what other reviews claimed. And CHEAP! We loaded up a few bags and were pleasantly surprised by the price. I am currently eating one of the better dinners I've had in the last couple of months thanks to Lotus. I have a feeling that this shop will be seeing a lot more of me.
