First time going to AJ fun center and it was a terrible experience. The games do not work properly the drastic park game is ruined. Some of games didn’t give out tickets when they should have. We went on a Thursday and purchase their deal of the day; which was a fun park pass with a slice of pizza and a drink. So when we decided to get the pizza and drink MADISON was very rude. We asked for the pizza and she offered us ice cream because she didn’t want to make the pizza. She was upset because there wasn’t any pizza out so she would actually have to make some. When we told her we would wait 10 min for it she sucked her lips. Then someone in the group changed their mind and wanted the ice cream she refused to give it to her. For the customer service aspect she should have gave her the ice cream. Then she take our meal ticket without offering to get us our drink. So I said “what about our drinks?” She gave them to us but was very rude. Anyways when we decide to play mini golf we went to the counter to get our ball and clubs. The one boy was helping a customer he was the only helpful one and she wasn’t doing anything. She was just looking at us waiting with our ball. It seemed to be like 5 mins have just passed and the manager walks passed her and tell her to give us the clubs . Again sucks her lips at the manager AND FINALLY gives us the clubs. The thing that mad me mad is that she was just looking at us not even offering to help. If a customers first time or anytime a cashier should treat them like a guest. Worst experience I have ever had probably should be training cashiers with proper customer service. She over all ruined the experience and we didn’t feel welcomed at all. Madison was lazy with poor customer service. The people on the go karts made the experience better but the cashier is the over all person who gives customers a good experience. This place should pick wisely who they put at the front counter. The manager was no where to be found at the end of trip so we weren’t able...
Read moreKind of broke my heart coming in today. Facilities: The diaper changing station had a child security lock on it that was a pain and a half. If you are holding a kid, a diaper, a pack of wipes, etc, how am I supposed to open a child security lock? Pointless.
Arcade: First game we tried to play, Candy crane, cord fell when we tried it and didn't come back up. Broken. Then we tried the basketball game, it didn't score right and only counted a fraction of the baskets. The ball drop game was jammed. The game "boink" had a broken sensor so when it came time to hit blue it wouldn't register the hit and therefore wouldn't move on and you couldn't score any higher. At the redemption counter we handed her a 229 ticket slip and picked something for 100, then the counter attendent said we only had 30 tickets left? Seems unfair to raise your special from $5 for 25 tokens to $5 for 20 when only a fraction of your games actually work.
Go-karts: When we went to wait for the kiddie karts, the three workers just talked for awhile and let us wait instead of one of them assisting us. When we were finally let on, her legs didn't quite reach the pedal super well and they didn't offer a pad to help her reach. Then the kart ran out of gas before she got out of the pit! They brought her back in and put her in a new kart, that one made it two whole laps before running out of gas and they just brought her back in and ended the ride. Two laps for $5 and both karts crapped out mid ride. Again, raising prices but not fixing the attraction.
Place looked great, don't get me wrong, but perhaps ya'll are putting money into the...
Read moreThe good: The Whitecaps now own the place and obviously have put money into it to fix it up. A lot of old signs and wooden boards have been fixed and it looks much cleaner than before. The bad: management unfortunately is terrible. When I asked my son where he would like to have a birthday party this year, he asked to have it at Game Time. I first attempted to contact them a little more than a month and a half away from his BDay. They have a "contact us" section on their website so I left a message letting them know I was interested in having a party there. A week went by, I heard nothing, so I left another message online. Waited a few days again, no response. So then I tried emailing them directly. Another several days went by without a peep. So then I tried calling them. No answer on the phone so it went to voicemail, only their VM is full so you can't leave a message...Finally after calling several times I spoke to an actual live human! Hurrah! I gave them the deets, left them my name, number and email, and was told a manager would call me "right back". That was over 2 weeks ago and I never heard from them. Needless to say, we did NOT have his birthday at...
