I have ordered countless cases from GR Popcorn Co. throughout the years so when I needed popcorn,popcorn, called them to place a special order for 1 case of pink popcorn for a baby shower. I was told they had strawberry and watermelon available in pink. I chose strawberry and paid at the time of placing the order. I drove 45 miles to pick up my order so I opened the box to be sure that it it was what I ordered, but when I opened the box, the popcorn was red, or some shade of red. I told the lady that it was not pink and that I wanted it remade, but she said no because it was a special order, that if I wanted something different I would have to place another order and of course pay for that order. Now, I understand that it's a special order and that anything additional should be paid, however, if there is a special order, the customer should get what they ordered. I am so disappointed because I can't afford to buy another case @ $54 and even if I did, what am I going to do with all of the popcorn? I love their popcorn but I am extremely disappointed with their service. I am attaching a picture of the popcorn next to 2 different shades of red colored Crayola colored pencils and the 3 different shades of pink flowers so that you can see that for them to even call that color pink is absurd. I purchased a popcorn popper for our Middle School in September, used it for approximately 12 weeks 2 x a week for about 3 hours a night. The light bulb burned out which is also used as the warmer. I contacted the Popcorn factory, was told that they are just like a car and that they burn out after some use. I can tell you that I have had my vehicle for 9 years and have yet to have to buy a light bulb. The girl that answers the phone was rude, after my 3rd call, she gave me the cell # to Mike my salesmen, I called him 2 x and left a message and have yet to hear from him. My only option from them was to drive 45 minutes to GR to purchase the bulb. I know for a fact that they come to our area periodically for deliveries to our other schools and could drop off a bulb, they will not ship them. I instead ended up having to find one online for $5.99 and then $9.50 to ship it. I hope our popper never needs to be serviced. If so I will hopefully find another company to do it. I am not going to go waste more money on something I don't want. I will be taking future business somewhere else. Now I get to take a crying kid home without his treat because GRPC only values large purchases. Disappointing
