NOT what we were expecting for our kids 1st haircut at all. Started the way we were greeted- receptionist asked the name and after we told her she said âhave a seatâ (mind you we have never been to the place) soooo have a seat where?! Maybe she should have said âthere is a waiting/play room in the back you can have a seat until we are readyâ I was expecting to be greeted by kid friendly/excited adults to make the kids feel comfortable right away. Not what we received! So after being called back 10 minutes late it was âpick a chairâ Kathy never greeted my son (2 1/2 year old that has never gotten a haircut) he doesnât love strangers and needs to feel comfortable with someone before heâs going to let you do anything. So he instantly starts throwing a fit and crying. I gave him a sucker to try to calm him down but he wasnât having it. I then eventually explained our daughter would take the appointment and get her 1st haircut instead (thinking they would be happy we werenât just leaving or not paying for the appointment we made) the receptionist says âthatâs going to cut into your lunch timeâ ??? Kathy says âthatâs okâ which was nice I guess but come on you were the ones that were late 10 minutes so you were only giving us 10 minutes for a 1st boy haircut?! Kathy did fine with my daughterâs haircut but wasnât âkid friendlyâ or even say anything besides âwhat color bow would you likeâ after she was done. Our daughter was still happy and excited about her 1st haircut because we were telling her good job and she loved receiving a picture/the 1st haircut card. We for sure wonât go back to this location or recommend anyone for a 1st haircut with a kid that needs someone to say hi and actually try to be nice before the haircut. Looked like everyone in there was just blahhhh and i expected more upbeat...
Read moreI regularly took my kid to plano location. I liked the haircut done by Bibi and Tiffany and their behavior is good. So even after moving 30 miles away, I took my kid there for haircut. Because they both were booked for today, Dec 2nd, I thought of trying Kathy G. I was 7 minutes late for 4 PM appointment and she (receptionist) didn't try to understand our situation and denied service. She successfully lost a customer today because of her misbehavior. NEVER AGAIN!!
Finally got a response after a month and that is also full of lies. This just shows how untrustworthy this particular location is , shaming the whole franchise.
I can show you my call records for the number that was provided in my account and you will not find a single call from you before and after 3 hours of the appointment time.
I requested for a later slot but did not have any luck there as well. You stylist never offered a later slot. She is taking you (the owner) for a ride with lies on top of lies.
Its not 1-star review without a reason. I always provide details about my experience. Clearly you didn't have time to go through the details of the reviews and jumped to respond after a month without proper investigation into the matter. Its really a sorry state of affair.
This is response to the edited response to my review.
Your current edit clearly shows now that you have investigated the issue. Thank you for that.
As I had mentioned in my original review that I don't need anything from you anymore after the misbehavior by your staff, so I had edited my contact details in your portal.
My review is for you to train all your staff not to misbehave with customers and try to understand their situation and try to provide a solution if possible, which will ensure that in future, no other customer ever faces...
Read moreWe had an appointment today for our babyâs very first haircut. We were hoping for a positive experience based on Google reviews, but sadly it was not a good experience for us at all.
We checked in and everything started out fine. Our baby was handling everything pretty good up until the stylist had to use a clipper/trimmer. The sound or the vibration of it must have scared him because he started crying and not being able to sit still. We tried our best to calm him down and keep him still but it was hard. I expected he might get scared or overwhelmed a little since this was his first haircut experience.
However, the most upsetting part was when he got cut behind his ears by the clipper. Not just one, but he had cuts behind both of his ears. He was bleeding and I was just in shock. The stylist acted like it was not a big deal and tried to rush through it without giving him a break. At that point, I wasnât even paying attention to what his hair looked like. I just wanted to get out of there.
We got home and that was when I noticed how bad his hair looked. I thought about reaching out to them to correct the haircut, but honestly had no desire to return to this place. Instead, I decided to correct it myself at home and it looks much better now.
Maybe this happens often when babies get haircuts as they tend to move a lot and itâs hard to control them when they get scared. But I do wish the stylist wouldâve been a little more careful and gentle as she was handling a...
