The service was a little slow, but I was understanding as it was the last day of a really good sale. I walk around for about 30 min and selected 2 charms to go on a charm bracelet. The sales associate informed me both charms are out of stock. I ended up spending more time to select 2 more charms. When I was in line the first time. I believed I watched a sales associate place both charms on a bracelet for another customer. When I paid I was told I can pick up my bracelet tomorrow after 5....Umm Okay. When I got home I decided to purchase a necklace online and just pick it up in the store since I have to make another 20 minute trip back to the store to pick up my bracelet. I choose the pick up in store option and it informs me that one of the charms is out of stock. I decide to go ahead and try and purchase the same charm I was told just a few hours ago was completely out of stock (including any display ones). I am now looking at an email saying my order including this charm that was out of stock is now ready for pickup. I do not think I will come to this location again. I felt like I was treated differently than other customers around me. This is after waiting years on finally deciding to get a James Avery charm bracelet and then a necklace.
Update 2020: This location still lacks customer service. Will be returning...

As soon as I walked in an older lady believe her name was Sylvia had greeted me very quickly which threw me off and immediately asked what I was in there for. I said I would like to look at charms for my moms 75th birthday approaching. This lady was abrasive and again it threw me off. I preceded to go look at the charms and every time I looked she was there. She was so close I could smell her. It started to make me very uncomfortable as I felt like I was being profiled. So I moved to another location and the same behavior was happening. I even tried to have someone else assist me but once I saw her approach I walked away and heard her say what did she want? I did not have a great experience and I rushed to get out of there. I told my husband about it when I got home and he encouraged me to write this review and return the 4 charms I purchased. Read morei love james avery jewelry and the brand but this was the worst location i’ve ever been to. i called and asked if i could do an exchange and explained why and whoever i spoke to was very kind and said i could do it i just have to come in store. i went in and had the worst customer service experience i walked up to the counter and not one worker said anything or even smiled i started talking and showed cheryl (who seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else) my ring and she said “im not going to do this exchange for you there’s a scratch on this ring.” there’s no scratch… i asked her if she could show me and she wouldn’t i then asked if there was anything else i could do and she told me “nope but if you don’t want it sell it on ebay” and she walked away. if you live in plano just go to the JA in dillards i’m sure they have...
