UPDATE Dec 2024: What can I write except same as last year. Only difference was Act I & II had a much different performance compared to prior years. Usually only a few scenes are change but this year it was a lot more. It made it a great show. Now for what I wrote last year. UPDATE Dec 2023: Spectacular...again. The Gift of Christmas show is one to attend this season. If you came last year or in the past come again as they have done a major production make over for the good. Act I is the secular portions with new outstanding singing, choreography, costumes, props etc. The church choir is in the background for Act I and into Act II. Lots of use of lights, lasers, and fireworks. It is quite the show. There must be over 1,000 in cast and many more in the crew and volunteers helping parties get to their seats. Act II celebrates the birth of Jesus with a number of traditional hymns and images/video. There is a special show scheduled for those with special needs or visual concerns. Contact church for details. A few points to reduce hassle arriving etc. I recommend enter from north off of Plano Parkway. See photo. Most try to enter via Park Blvd and hit backup delay getting into parking lot. Plenty of parking on north side of church. Try to get 3d floor seats as much better view of production. See photo before and after show. Audio is plenty loud (I wore ear plugs to cut down noise). If you get 3d or 2d floor seats consider skipping elevators as the lines are long just before show. This is a two hr show with no intermission so hit the restroom before or take a break between Acts I & II (they are showing a video which one can skip). UPDATE Dec 2022: Another outstanding presentation The Celebration of Christmas. We caught the Sun afternoon show. Almost a full house for two hour show done that would be the envy of any Broadway musical production. If you can only make one Christmas show during the season this should be the one. I think the zebras and lamas were new this year. Still have the camels make an appearance. 2021: Spectacular. That's what comes to mind after watching this year's Christmas show. No need to seek some large scale production as the hundreds of volunteers put on a fantastic show. We have seen it several times over the years and I think this is the best one. The camels still steal the show when they are brought out in the 2d half. A few items to enjoy your time. Try to enter via Plano Parkway (north side) as most everyone tries to park via Park Blvd or Midway. Order your tickets early as our show was just about sold out (7,000+). Take advantage of the red coated ushers to find you seats. I remembered how loud the music/singing was so I wore a set of foam ear plugs. That cut down the noise and I still heard clearly all the dialog and singing. The show was 2 hr with no intermission. The show's first half is a secular portion with Santa Claus, elves, etc. Then a transition to the religious themes of the birth of Jesus. The 100+ choir in tuxs and evening gowns was outstanding. There is a live orchestra that plays non-stop for two hours. Several of the dance ensemble performed in two or more different costumes. Impressive. Lighting and choreography were first class. Final note on choice of seats, I would consider again getting ones on the 2d or 3d Floor on the wings overlooking the stage. With this big production you get better sight lines looking down at the production.

We were visiting Dallas and wanted to try a negachurch. Giant churches can tend to get a bad rap. We wanted to decide for ourselves (we went to several on our journey from Canada). This one was very Spirit-led. It was so evident. Far more than we expected. We expected amazing production and professionalism but got so much more. We were hugely blessed at this church. Treated like royalty when we told them our was our first time. We had front row seats! Pastor Graham came and spoke to us and we didn't even know he was the pastor until he preached. He preached truth unabashedly. You won't get a watered down gospel here. The message was powerful and I couldn't take notes fast enough. Great quote from pastor Jack in the photos. Worship was quite the production but I don't mean that in a negative way. They are giving their best for God and it was beautiful. Orchestra, huge choir, incredible worship leaders. After the service we visited the guest center where we were given free passes for lunch (available weekly), a book by Pastor Jack and free kids Bibles for our kids. The free lunch was fantastic! So much variety. Menu posted. It allows for fellowship. There were hundreds there. We checked out the gift shop and it was very unique. Not just your typical Christian bookstore wares. A lot of beautiful art especially. We bought an adorable animated kids Bible. Fantastic experience here in every way. Our kids didn't attend the Sunday school as they wanted to stay with us so I can't speak to that.
