I'm a self proclaimed burger snob. I'm fortunate in that my job has allowed me to travel all over the country, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. I've literally tried burger joints in just about every country I've been in. Texas imo generally has the best burgers followed closely by California and Oklahoma. I judge burger joints harshly and rarely give a burger joint more than an 8/10. The only 10/10's I've given are Alamo Springs Cafe in Fredericksburg, Texas and Grill'em All Burgers in Alhambra California. The Dallas area is fortunate to have several really good burger joints (one and only burger, rocket, kellers drive in, kenny's and liberty burger just to name a few). All of the aforementioned joints score from 8.5 to 9/10.. the highest concentration of quality burgers in Texas. Enter LA Burger tonight. We had seen the good reviews so we figured we'd give it a try. I ordered the west coast burger with bacon and sweet potato fries. My son got the regular cheese burger and my wife just onion rings ( she wasn't very hungry but like onion rings). She loved the rings and called thema crispier version of Whataburger rings which is a good thing. My son loved his burger so much and devoured it so fast, i couldn't even get ab photo.. liberty burger has been his long time favorite but tonight he said LA Burger tied for#1 . For me, i loved the burger. It was everything a burger is supposed to be. Grilled bun, fresh veggies, grilled jalapenos, crisp bacon, and most of all fresh, hand formed patties, not frozen. Just the right about of juiciness, as close to perfect as I've had in a burger. A solid 10/10. The sweet potato fries were standard cut fries but done well.. very good. If I'm being picky, the ONLY ding i give this place and i ding many places for it is asking for tips before services are rendered or food is made. It's become a common thing these days and it's annoying. I tip very graciously if the food and service is good but to ask for it before while they're staring you in the face is a huge turn off. Some places fortunately don't do this and it's appreciated. That aside, i can honestly say LA Burger is #1 in the Dallas area for us thus far scoring a VERY rare 9.5/10. Get rid of the pre-meal tip guilting and it would be a solid 10/10. This place is that dang good... If you're a burger fanatic, go here, you will not be...

Read moreI had been hearing how good LA Burgers were, and I wanted to give them a try. I called and placed my order over the phone for pickup. I sent my son to pick up and food and the burger was delicious, I did ask for avocado on my burger as it was suggested on the menu. My son brings my food I taste the onion rings and they were amazing. I taste the burger and it was phenomenal, by far the best burger I have had in the DFW area. So about 10 mins after I’m done with my mean, I get a phone call and there is literally a man on the other end of the phone yelling at me about picking up my order and that it’s sitting there waiting for me. I’m very confused because I already had my food. Well apparently I placed my order at one location and picked it up from the wrong location. It was totally an honest mistake. But the man that called me about my order was so rude to me and was going off on me about how he would have to pay for my order because it’s just sitting there and he was yelling at me and I felt very bad about my honesty mistake. I offered to Zelle him the money for the food because it was an honest mistake. He goes on to say he doesn’t have Zelle or Cashapp or any of that and ended the call with well now we just going to have to throw this food away. Despite me never actually going into the store, this by far is the worst customer service I’ve ever...
