Wallace's Garden Center — Attraction in Pleasant Valley Township

Thanks for responding, Wallace's, I admire the proactive approach to reviews that don't have much context. So I'll amend this review to provide more details. I love the atmosphere and attentive staff. I've been shopping here for years and have mostly had 5 star experiences. I have, however, had meely(not sure about the spelling) bug issues with some of the plants I've brought home, just the indoor plants. Due to the great selection, I still shop here, but make sure to quarantine any plants for at least two weeks from the rest. I know I should always make this a habit, but I just haven't had that issue anywhere else, only Wallaces, on three separate occasions. I'm sure they take great care of the plants and would love to give them the benefit of the doubt, because for all I know, they could be coming from the supplier with the insects. We went to buy a plant somewhere else that is also a specialty in house plants. We came to your establishment with hesitation but Marie waited on us. She was very helpful and did not treat us like she did not have time for us or hurried us along. She explained that they would plant our plant we purchased along with the pot we purchased if she would like her to! No one has EVER let us know that was a possibility. We also had a plant that slowly died because it had bugs in it and we had no idea till it slowly died off. She explained your policy. We almost did not come back to buy a plant because of it, but decided to try again. She was so very helpful. Glad she waited on us because she changed our minds about purchasing through you all! I'm moving to the area and know very few people and have few resources at home having just moved in. I needed a unique gift in short order and even though they had literally hundreds of things that could have worked right if the shelf. I had an employee in the greenhouse (I apologise for not remembering her name, but thank you, thank you, thank you for your help!) Help me to put together a completely CUSTOM planter from scratch for ONLY the cost of materials (less then half the cost of ANY florist!) and she refused a LARGE tip when we finished!
