I have been having a rough week. Today was no exception. I decided to do a quick lunch with my 5 year old son before doing the many things we have to do today. I have a lot weighing on my shoulders and when going through the drive through getting ready to order I had 57 other things rushing through my mind as well. I am going to be honest I didn’t even hear what he said when he created me over the intercom but out of habit I just said “hi can you hold on one second”. Again not focusing he replied and I said “what” so he repeated “ya no problem that will be 30 dollars a second”. I sat caught off guard trying to register what he said and I started to smile. My silent pause must have made him think I was upset so he quickly tried to rectify the situation and said “I’m sorry I was just joking”. I started to giggle and said “ no you’re find it caught me off guard. That was really funny! Sorry I have had a rough day” to which someone in the background replied “do you wanna TACO bout it?”. I want to apologize to them for the obnoxious outrageously loud ugly laugh that I belted out because I’m sure that it hurt their ears. Then I ordered my food and changed my mind last second on a dorito taco instead of a regular one. Which I almost just didn’t say anything because I have anxiety and didn’t want to cause any issues, but they switched it no problem. When I said sorry they made me feel better by saying it was ok no biggie. When I pulled up to the window one of the gentleman was wearing a sombrero and the other was wearing a giant taco hat. My son thought it was the absolute coolest thing he has ever seen. I normally don’t do surveys or reviews but when I do it’s always for circumstances like this. I am terrible with names so I had to call back and ask because I was making sure I was going to tell my experience on here, google, Facebook and friends and family. Jack and Riley did not know my struggles I am going through and could have just did their jobs and went along with their day. Instead they chose to spread joy and happiness through the drive through window. That less than 5 minute interaction with Jack and Riley really lifted my spirits and truly made me laugh! It’s hard especially now a days to find employees that go above and beyond and Taco Bell has two of them. I own my own business landscaping and if it wasn’t the end of the season I would have offered them jobs right then and there. They were an absolute joy and should be recognized for their efforts. They made a strangers day when their was nothing to gain for them. Jack and Riley deserve a raise and should be celebrated in some fashion. Thank you Jack and Riley! You two really brightened up my day and I hope y’all see this and get the credit you deserve!
Side note: I did try to do all this on the survey but it would only let me put a certain...
Read moreWe will NOT be going back to this location. Drive thru experience was unacceptable today. We were the 6th vehicle in line (so we know we'll have a bit of a wait) - we waited 5 1/2 minutes for vehicle at the pick-up window to drive away - the customer should have been asked to pull around front of the building and their order brought out to them instead of holding up the line. We finally get to the speaker to order - it was 89 seconds (yes, I timed it) before an employee asked for our order - no "sorry for your wait"/"thank you for patiently waiting" ... nothing to acknowledge our wait (and the drive thru lane is only one lane wide, so customers cannot pull out of line and leave if they get tired of waiting). We ordered 1 soft shell & 1 hard shell taco, 1 bean burrito & 2 steak chalupas. 63 seconds after we placed order we hadn't yet received confirmation of order, been told to pull up to next window, nothing ... so I say "Hello?!" The response ... "Hold on a sec." Were we not picking up food for someone who's home-bound I would have refused the order once we got to the pick...

-30stars. I placed a mobile order, got to TB at 10am (breakfast ends at 11). Waited in line. When I got up to the window the employee said they didn't have breakfast and wanted me to change my order to lunch. I asked if this location wasn't serving breakfast and was informed that a door dash order came through before me taking their entire prepared breakfast food. And since it was 10am they wouldn't "drop" more because breakfast ended at 11 and the food wouldn't be ready for 45 minutes. I made an order online so doesn't that tell them that someone is headed to their location for breakfast? Then I was rudely told they needed me to cancel my order online before I drove off. NEVER expect good customer service when they can't be bothered to have breakfast during breakfast hours. At least I know where NOT to waste my money and time. Oh! And to top it all off - I was charged for the food they refused to...
