ArtSpark Studio — Attraction in Pleasanton

Had a terrible experience here. They have this creative drawing class on Sun. But when we arrived, the teacher didn’t know about this class. After talking to their director, he took us to this room and gave my kid an iPad and asked my kid to pick whatever she wants to draw or paint. So this teacher will teach the other kids in another room and come to check on my kid a few times and this is their creative drawing class. I asked their director. She said they had to move the whole class to a different time due to parents’ request. That’s why my kid is the only kid here. I walked away and asked for refund.

Before processing the refund, the director had me listen to her explain that there was nothing wrong with the schedules and creative drawing class just worked like that. Basically they did not do anything wrong. I am the one who misunderstood them. They wouldn’t process the refund until I listened to their explanation for half an hour. That’s when I felt like I needed to post this review. Misunderstood or not, a teacher CANNOT teach two classes at the same time. This is just WRONG! Other kids were waiting while this teacher talked to me, wasting time.

I’m very disappointed and will never go to this place again. They described this creative drawing class as they are gonna support the kids to draw whatever they want and help them improve. The reality is that they are going to give the kid an IPad and only come to the room a few times to check in (the teacher has to teach in another class at the same time)!

Also, edit to say that the director keeps trying to contact me and explain AGAIN after seeing my review. Enough of explanation. I just want other parents to know how this creative drawing class works in this studio and save them some time. I will never be a customer here. And my review is honest and simply described what happened that day. Therefore, I will not change or delete...
