I just moved to Pleasanton and thought I can find a local nail salon to get my nails done before going to Tahoe for a family reunion weekend. The moment I got to the salon, I was asked what kind of services I wanted, I was specific that I wanted gel manicure and regular polish for my toes. They were very pushy about getting gel done but I wanted just regular polish since it’s almost time to put the sandals away for the season. I showed a picture of the nail design I wanted (ombrĆ© style) but they said it could not be done the way I wanted, I respected that because other people have different talents so I went with regular French tip. The gentlemen that was doing my nails was a bit rough with my cuticles, and as you can see on one of my photos, still had some left over nail glitter from my previous nail design. He shuffled a few times looking for tools, and would hop back and forth knocking a few things while the lady was working on my toes. When the lady asked me what color I wanted for my toes, I saw her grab the UV light, and I reminded her that I just wanted regular polish NOT GEL. 3 of them speaking in their language in a frustrated tone and body language as if it was my fault for wanting regular polish, they responded to me saying ā€œokay we do regular only!ā€ As time went on, there was another lady in the shop asking for just a light coat because the last time she was there 2 weeks ago, she complained that the polish on her toes were too thick and did not last long. One of the ladies came up to her and told her ā€œthis is why you should pick gelā€ turned over to the other workers speaking and laughing in their language. ***as you can see on my toe photo, the lady was correct, they applied a thick coat on my toes and guess what happened?! It started to peel off*** The gentleman was struggling a bit applying my French tip, so another lady came and took over, she seemed a bit more experienced and everything looked great. After leaving the salon, I had lunch and headed home, after a few hours I took a shower and noticed my nails were starting to peel off. Is gel suppose to peel off? Until I realized, she had just painted over the gentleman’s work. I have never had gel manicure peel off so quickly in just a few hours after getting them done. Honestly I’m too frustrated to even go back to have them do it again because of their customer service. They can keep my money and the tip, but I don’t recommend anyone to have any services at this place. I am definitely not coming back.

Tony and his team are really amazing at what they do. Tony is a perfectionist when it comes to nails and mine always turn out amazing. The first time I came here, the dip powder tips I got lasted for well over a month without breaking! The pedicure I got was thorough and she massages me legs and feet for quite a while. They have a lot of colors to choose from in acrylic, dip and polish. Always happy when I leave and recommended to all of my friends!

The best dip nail experience so far. Tom was patient in picking the right shade after few trial and errors until I was satisfied. He is a true artist! I definitely recommend him. +3 years later Today, Helen did my nails, and she was kind, professional, and very detailed! This place has consistently delivered high-quality services for me over the past three years

I originally gave a 5 star review after coming here to TN Nail Salon, in Pleasanton, for years. The only manicurist who can do acrylic nails is the man that works there who I think is also the owner. I have been meaning to update my review and seeing how he responds to his other customers on here made me want to share my experience. I have known him and have been coming to this nail salon for years. I am so disappointed in how unprofessional he has become and how he treats his customers. I recommended this salon and his work specifically to my friends and in the end wish I never gave them my business. After quite a few bad encounters, with very inappropriate things being said that cannot be said on here, I have never stepped foot in that salon since and have found other very professional and cleaner salons. I am sorry to the others who work there. They are very sweet but I am very disappointed with how unprofessional he is. ā˜¹ļø Just look at how he responds to his other customers with lower...

This is the second time that I had a bad experience with this salon. They don’t even do a basic pedicure properly. Both times, the lady put more than 3 layers of nail polish on my toes. I wore closed toe shoes 48 hrs after my pedi and the nail polish still smudged. Both times I told them don’t do that but it still happened. This second time I spent $56 including tops for my pedi and gel mani. My gel mani started coming apart the second day. This has NEVER happened before. I called and the guy said you can come and and we can see but if you use hands a lot then this happens. No, it has never happened as before when I’ve got it done. What’s the difference between regular mani and gel mani then?? And no one has time to go and sit for more than an hr and get mani pedi redone again. They should do a good job the first time. I’ve been a regular there but not I see new workers which are not well trained. Won’t be going...
