Update on response to owner: We did not order the pizzas when your staff offered because it was after 4 and you close at 5 and staff couldn’t guarantee the pizzas would be delivered on time for us to eat, do cake, and presents. Correction: your staff DID NOT order pizzas late, they were never ordered in the first place- your staff specifically told us that. Funny how you say your staff was treated bad when my whole party was treated bad because our food was never ordered and management didn’t even try to make their mistake right. Doesn’t surprise me you’re as incompetent of an owner as your manager. Your response to our bad experience shows everyone that you don’t care or take your customers feedback seriously.
I would give a 0/5 rating if I could based on my experience of having my daughter’s birthday party there. I ordered the birthday cake party package which included an hour reserved in the party room and pizzas. Our room was reserved from 3:30-4:30 to have pizza, cake, and do presents. At 3:45 I noticed our pizzas still haven’t arrived, I asked the manager when our pizzas would be arriving, she responded she wasn’t sure but they should be arriving in 5-10 minutes. At 4 pm our pizzas still haven’t arrived. My husband then asks one of the staff when our pizzas should be arriving, we were then told that the pizzas were not ordered. We asked the manager if we would have time to eat pizza after it arrives and still do cake and presents before Deletas closes at 5, they responded they were not sure. I am very upset that our food was not ordered and we never received it. We ended up having to do cake before feeding our guests, and we ended up having to go somewhere else after to eat dinner since it was not provided during our scheduled party. What also upsets me is by the time we found out our pizzas were not going to be delivered it was after 4 pm, so we had to cake and presents, then the manager sends another staff to tell us at 4:30 that we need to leave the party room. We waited for our pizzas to come from 3:30 until after 4 pm before a staff told us that our pizzas weren’t ordered, so we had less than 30 minutes to do our cake and presents in the party room. The manager was not sincere in apologizing for her mistake. I asked to speak with the owner and a staff member told me they do not give out the owners number to customers so I gave my contact information and asked to have the owner call me. I do want the owner to call me to speak about this and hopefully try to make this right which is what the manager should have done in the first place. This was a horrible experience and I will never have a birthday party here again nor will I return to deletas to go skating. I will go to another business...
Read moreUpdate: The owner replied and asked that I let the staff know that machines are unplugged. So I'll add more to the review that helps with that concern.
The employees are understaffed which makes it impossible for them to keep everything clean and "plugged in". A lot of these machines are actually plugged in but they have an "out of order" sign posted on them (see the skee ball machine).
Some of the arcade machines (NBA Hangtime) have been off for more than a year based on the two sets of pictures I have posted a year a part. So that address the claim that children are unplugging them.
I didn't address the fact that the florescent lights above the "big toy" need replaced but I suppose it's possible that a child "unplugged" them.
The negative reviews that I have left on several local businesses all have the same thing in common, they are not maintained and the owners are letting them fall apart instead of maintaining the property.
So, I implore the owners to spend the money either by hiring more employees to keep the business clean or by spending money to fix or repair the facility.
Original Review Another establishment that hasn't withstood the test of time. Poor cleaning standards and almost zero upkeep has seen another treasured Pocatello institution reach bottom.
Frequent poor reviews show that the owners know about the issues but actions to improve aren't taking place. It's only a matter of time before this business goes under.
There are two sets of pictures in this review and they are a year apart. I dare you to figure out which ones they are... it will be almost impossible because the place is a disaster each of the 3 times I've visited over the past year.
Good enough isn't...
Read moreYet again another half-hearted attempt at "fun" in Pocatello. How in the heck does this place have so many positive reviews? This place stunned me with only the fact that just about all of the features this dump has to offer were severely run down. The arcade machines had expired licenses from 3 years ago, and half of them were out of order. And don't even bother getting a prize from the ticket redeeming booth. It is extremely difficult to get tickets from the arcade games partially because half of them are broken. And that's not all. The walls and floor were super old and rotting away. And I felt the need to supervise my child go to the bathroom because of how dirty and kind of creepy this "Family Fun Center" was. The bathroom floor was wet, warped, and old. I can see many children, including my (at the time 11 year old) son getting injured from slipping and falling on the rock hard floor. The food and drink bar wasn't too bad, but it wasn't good either. The beverages were too pricey for a town like this. The party rooms which me and my child experienced (Because he went to a birthday party there) were actually pretty clean and had fun designs on the walls. There is also an outer limits type playground for children to play on, but I don't trust it. The skating rink, however is also pretty good, and I absolutely loved the hourly activities they did there. I would give this place a two star review, if the bad didn't completely overrun the good. This is a another "Pocatello" (not trying to be rude about Pocatello, but how many family based businesses are in actual good condition) style business of only profit based owners not caring at all about the quality of...
