On at least 2 occasions, our food was spilled in the bag as if someone had tipped the styrofoam container rather than setting it in the bag and then pulling the bag up and around. We are always careful to keep food on a level surface as we do not want things spilled in our car. The last time we got carryout, we ordered extra sauce. That was a mistake. The food was not only dumped again, but it just made for a much more substantial amount of standing liquid in the bag. Thank god the bag did not leak. So, this most recent time that we ordered carryout, I made it a point to request that they be careful not to spill the food while bagging it. It was a simple request and I was nice about it. For some reason whoever was bagging the food felt the need to read the request out loud when my wife picked up the order as if to put her on the spot or shame her at which point the staff simply stared at her. When the young man handed her the food, he said in a snarky tone, "here you go, no spill". I'm not sure why he felt the need to act that way. I was not singling anyone out, and I was nice about how I worded the request in the online order. If anything, an apology would have been in order but was certainly not expected. But, an apology would've been better than reading the request out loud or being snarky. We just didn't want our food spilled in the bag. The food is good but not good enough to put up with that kind of treatment from some of the staff. I expect someone will respond to this with an excuse if there is a response at all. Really, there is nothing that needs to be said.

BEST THAI FOOD IN POCATELLO!! The taste is PHENOMENAL, the price is AMAZING, the sizes are AWESOME! I used to go to Thai kitchen all the time, but their waitress is very rude to me, the portion is only 1/3-possibly 1/4 the size of Thai Zap, and it’s godawfully expensive!! I got the same thing I always get at Thai kitchen, PLUS I got an appetizer (which I had already eaten a few before I took the picture) and it was STILL cheaper than Thai kitchen!! THANK YOU THAI ZAP for offering food at a great price! THANK YOU for NOT being greedy like other Thai food restaurants in the area! You now have me as a permanent customer for life! I got the cashew nut chicken, the pad Thai(chicken), and the crab rangoons! I still can’t get over the size of the portions! THANK YOU!! 😊

Food is made to order and fresh, but the wait is never too long either. Prices are good and the employees are friendly. It seems like there is a good selection and you can get egg rolls and a drink with any entree for cheap. I highly recommend the Pad See Ew (#14) because it's the bomb diggity. Their spice level is pretty standard between 1-5, but it's right on point. Some places don't really seem to differ between spice levels too much, but a 3 can actually have some fantastic and delicious kick from time to time. Only down side...because it's a food truck they're only open from spring to late fall so you can't get delicious Thai Zap all year round.

First off I will say this place has excellent food at a great price. The one star rating has to due with potential theft and credit card fraud. Last night I had a 20% bonus tip added to my take out order total. Today I went in and spoke with the owner. He was very polite, and very friendly. After explaining what happened, we reviewed my receipt from last night and my bank receipt to verify that an exact 20% bonus tip was indeed added. The waitress apologized saying that if she did it, was a mistake and she was very sorry. The owner also said that maybe his system had an error and he will have it looked at and he will get back to me. Whether it was human error, machine error, or intentional, I do not know, but it did happen. I explained that my concern inst really about the money, but the principle of what could be going on, of either computer/human error, or possible theft/credit card fraud. My concern is that this may have happened to other customers in the community as well. So if you have gone to this restaurant you may want to verify 20% tip was not added to your total. If so contact the restaurant who I am sure will respond in a very polite manner and resolve the issue. I am eagerly awaiting the owners response and when he does respond, I will update...

It was my first time dining in here. I liked the atmosphere. There wasn’t a whole lot of seating but the vibe was overall relaxing and calm. Unfortunately, my experience for dining in was tainted by not getting the full experience of what “dining in” means. The young man working at the counter took my order and then I sat down to be served. My drink came in a washable plastic cup with a straw, and my food was presented to me in takeout containers. The advantage to that was, all I needed to ask for was a lid to take my leftover food home. The disadvantage was it just felt cheap and lazy. Besides that, I have no complaints about the taste or quality of my dish. I ordered the Pad Kae Mao (drunken noodles) with chicken and steamed white rice. It came out very fresh and hot in temperature. Everything...
