If I could give this location a 0 star review, trust me I would. Let's start from the beginning. We had a reservation for a party room for 11:30am on 4/28 at this Fort Lauderdale location. We arrive a little before then to set up and get situated and immediately the front desk associate (short light girl with brown/blonde highlights) seemed to be in a bad mood. Not entirely sure what her deal was but our focus was to get situated. Danielle was her name, remember that for later in the review. As we begin setting up, we had a gentleman come into our room who is supposed to be our host for the day basically come and ask us two questions. From there he disappears and we, the adults, throughout our booking, have to go find him to provide us with water, our food, necessities we may have needed, our cake, you get the drift. Completely disengaged and only became attentive towards the end of the booking when he realized we'd be calling corporate due to the entire staff's unprofessionalism. Fast forward at around 1:45p-2p, we are trying to figure out food and what is owed in the package and instead of Danielle using her bright customer service skills, the only thing she was serving was stank attitude that would piss anyone off. So immediately we engage with her trying to understand what is going on and things go left. She replies with condescending attitude, rolling her eyes every 30 seconds and looking over her shoulder to the rest of the staff that is sitting behind her laughing. Seems to us like a bunch of KIDS were hired to work here because who knew it takes about 5-6 people to print out an itemized receipt and explain why we have unauthorized charges to our balance. The main issue that escalated the problem was when checking out our tab, we had 7, not 1 or 2 or even 3 but SEVEN unauthorized sock purchases on our tab. We had a party of about 15 kids and each child who came with their parent had their socks purchased by said parent. The real issue that we figured was that random kids would run to the counter and ask for socks. The front attendant(s) would then ask "are you with a party?" indicating one of the party rooms which are only 3. . The child would reply "yes", which for any regular service agent, the common and obvious response would be "who?" This would allow the child to indicate who they belong to and which party to correctly charge it under. instead, the attendants would give them a name, in THIS case, our name before the child tells them. ex: "are you with _'s party?" prompting a careless yes and an addition to our bill. This is why now we're writing this review. As we are attempting to figure out the bill and why so many charges are present, instead of, once again, being polite and speaking without an attitude, Danielle decides to go back and forth with us, the customer, and insist that the charges are right and justified. We even pulled up the receipts to all the actual charges we had for the socks that were actually bought. If we purchased something, we have no problem buying it but to be addressed in such a condescending manner was beyond us at this point. We spoke to the manager present (Jeremiah) who was much of no help in de-escalating the situation or finding a viable solution to getting Danielle off of her high horse, so we asked for a receipt where they could provide us with a corporate number or email to escalate the situation away from the physical location & present situation. I then proceeded to ask them the names of the people we had interactions with for said escalation to which "Danielle" (if that's even her real name" replied "We don't have to give you nothing". A receipt was then printed, three names were written and we went on our merry after closing our tab. The next 25 mins were spent tidying up the space and every time your front desk attendant passed our space, she made sure to smirk and smile as she went by like this is something that happens frequently amongst guests.. If you want a miserable customer experience with staff that behave like children, please visit...
Read moreI have been going here for years with my toddler. Parents are always jumping with their kids on Sunday mornings specifically for toddlers. I have even been asked by staff..”will you be jumping today too?” I usually say no but because it was my daughter’s birthday I said yes and that I would need socks today. Today I was not asked if I would be jumping bc I said I wanted to jump too as soon as I walked up to the counter.
Well today apparently it was toddlers ONLY. I said yeah I know I want to jump with her as her parent though….. I explained I’ve been there a million times and there are always parents jumping I even pointed across the park at a parent JUMPING.
I told them never mind don’t worry about it. I paid for my daughter and walked away to jump.
As we were walking I pointed out to a staff member a parent jumping on the basketball hoop trampoline and asked why is he allowed to do that?
A manager comes over to me and asks what happened and I told her. She then said this is news to her and that she would get me socks and sort it out. (This would imply I would be able to be on a trampoline since she was getting me socks)
I stayed off the trampoline until she came back. This time with a male manager above her. Who now told me I couldn’t jump….. at this point I’m frustrated bc the staff clearly is not in the same page at all. I started arguing why am I not allowed to jump while pointing at other parents jumping…. They didn’t have a good reason and just said “parents can’t jump and if I’m caught jumping I’ll be kicked out” I said ok that’s fine but if i see other parents jumping that I will be doing the same…. We went back and forth for a few minutes.
A couple other parents came up to me and said yeah idk I jump all the time idk why they are being so weird today.
I minded my business and was NOT JUMPING AT ALL.
Staff kept staring at me and laughing.
Eventually the male manager came over again and said a complaint was made that I was taking photos of other parents. I IMMEDIATLY showed my camera roll which was 2 photos of my daughter ONLY. I asked to see the security footage of me taking pics of other ppl and he refused. I told him i feel like I am being singled out and asked why his staff keeps staring at me when im minding my business. Nothing to say… then I said listen I have not taken any pics of anyone idk what you’re talking about… and also that I have still seen parents jumping!!!!!! WHEN I HAVE NOT. I asked if the convo was over with and he said no. We’re actually gonna press the exit button on you.
So yeah I feel discriminated against. Not sure why parents are wearing orange socks if they can’t jump? I got a refund and left.
I will admit I was pretty aversive with my vocals and that’s on me. But I’m sure you can imagine being frustrated to earths end being told you can’t do something when OTHER parents can do it? Will be writing to corporate about this and hope their staff can be properly trained. I see the teenagers not paying attention every time I am there anyways. We will go to off the wall...
Read morePlace is a nightmare. Booked 2 hour time for family in line. Get there and they make you wait. You are not allowed to jump with your little kids so you just watch them.tumble and fall while some young teenager is left to watch 12 to 15 toddlers. I then try to jump with my 12 year old and there is no space so he leans back to wait and another teenager comes over saying not allowed. I then ask him what he should do since no space and he says find somewhere else to go. My response exactly everything is over crowded and I didn't pay to f....n sit here. Needless to say we go get a drink and then told no can't habe that either only near tables. So I'm watching a gatorade after I paid for two hour slot. In the meantime my husband takes my 5 year old to play dodge ball and only 1 is open out of three and the little kids are finished so guess what screwed again.. not enough staff. Not to mention half of them don't wanth to even be there. On top of it all you get a locker fur a quarter which you may only use once so if you need to.get something say money for a drink you need another quarter to close again. SI if you go bring a lot of quarters. OK bottom line save your money and time. Horrible place, bad employees as well as service. It's like the walking dead. They have no problem taking your money but have problem letting you enjoy wasting your money. Only good thing was socks by the way had to pay for too. ...
