My girlfriend and i went into this establishment lastnight and never have been to harrahs casino before but we were there to support one of our friends who was performing in the band downstairs. We stumbled upon this bar as we were hungry and thirsty. We also wanted a break from the music and smoke. Like i said, we walked in around 9;30 pm and sat at the bar. The restaurant and bar was empty. The bar had 2 guests, and the restaurant has two tables. We were rudely judged and greeted by “rickie” who immediately asked us for our IDS, and said why don’t you go to another bar? Continued to check our IDS, and making jokes about our age? We are 30 & 33.. whether or not she thought we were under age, she continued to look at us and look at the IDS. She then walked away as she was talking to her coworker about making drinks for the restaurant. She wasted so much time walking aimlessly behind the bar doing nothing, once she came back and asked us if we would like to order a beverage, after INSULTING US, my friend looked at me and wanted to leave but i didn’t want to leave as we were just popping in for a quick drink and app. After several minutes of her roaming around the bar, acting busy. She finally came BACK over and asked if we wanted to stay and get a beverage after sitting there for 10 minutes, while all the other two people were sitting at the bar with drinks and food already. I said to her, can we please have two shots of tequila neat? She then decided to walk away while proceeding to tell me that she had no tequila. Then she magically found a bottle of tequila and proceeded to ask me if I still wanted it. Listen it shouldn’t be this hard to get a shot of tequila. We have been in the industry for over 15 years and this is absolutely asinine of someone to treat us like this. Whether or not we looked under age, or whatever she was thinking. We are 30 and 33. You don’t treat people like that, especially if we are good paying customers who have been in the industry and understand how it works. Never again will I be returning and RICKIE you should probably Treat people with respect… And take care of the guest that are actually willing to spend money… do better RICKIE AND CHANGE YOUR...
Read moreNever have I been so embarrassed and so disappointed in my entire life. For someone in the restaurant industry for 20 years, I am absolutely disgusted. Backstory… We had my grandfathers 90th birthday party here about 3 weeks ago and had a great experience. There was 4-5 of our children present and the food and service was good so we decided to make a new reservation for my wife’s 40th birthday dinner. We made the reservation and when we arrived with 13 guests(11 adults and 2 children) they denied us entry and made us wait outside in the heat for 20 minutes for a manager to come. When they arrived they told us children are no longer allowed in the building as of this past Monday(not even for dinner) and that they cannot allow us to enter. I told them I made the reservation with 2 children and they tried to tell me I did not. They didn’t offer any suggestions. Zero condolences. They just simply said they could not accommodate us. My family is now sitting here at 6:30pm on a Saturday night with nowhere to go for my wife’s 40th birthday dinner. Nothing on their website explaining no more children allowed. No courtesy phone call to cancel. No information whatsoever. Absolutely disgusted. Thanks you for ruining my wife’s milestone. Thank you for the worst offer of service from any dog in the service industry I have experienced in over 20 years in the...
Read moreMy husband and I had dinner with you Saturday, August 6th. We were very pleasantly greeted upon entering and from the very beginning the experience was fantastic. The decor was warm and very pleasing and the layout afforded intimate conversation with just the right volume coming from the Lounge Entertainment. Our Waiter was Melissa Adams and she was outstanding. The Menu was mind blowing with such a diverse array of mouth watering options. It made it extremely difficult to decide. Escargot was even more fabulous than some I've eaten in Paris, the Lobster bisque was gorgeous and rich in flavour. The wet aged NY Strip had a deep beefy grilled essence that was to die for not to mention the delicious carrots on the menu. We had a little problem with the 6oz. Lobster tail, but Management was more than accommodating in rectifying it immediately. Our fabulous meal was completed with a Creme Brule that was out of this world, not mention big enough for 4 people, of course I took a doggie bag home. I anxiously look forward to our next dining experience with you and hope you'll let Melissa, the Manager on duty that evening as well as the Chef and kitchen staff know what a phenomenal job they did. Definitely a perfect place for an upscale date night or special occasion, because with all they have to offer it will definitely...
