Not happy with the level of service. They make you rent furniture in two month increments, then there is no reimbursement if your home sells quickly. My options were rent month to month, but I would have to be submitted for a hard credit inquiry, and or pay the full amount for the two months. I have had CORT's furniture for like 3 weeks, and I am having them pick it up early, they should reimburse me for a month of the cost, it's the right thing to do. You cant make people pay for 2 full months if they are only needing the rental furniture for 3 weeks... makes no sense. They are going to put this back in the wearhouse for rent and not only make a full months rent of me, but hopefully someone else. I wouldn't be upset had I been offered a month to month contract without a hard credit inquiry. I mean who is going to waste a hard credit inquiry on a furniture rental, no one with good credit, or the concept of how credit works would be ok with a hard credit hit for a furniture rental. I reached out, I wont use names, but they said oh we will reach out to management. Who knows if they even did this, the next email I get was the answer was no for reimbursement, but contact this manager. Well I thought you already reached out to the manager and the answer was no, so why am I going to reach out. It's a shame, I just bought about $800 worth of furniture from CORT in Boston, as i just moved here. I wont be recommending them for rental services and or buying furniture any more.
Update: They remedied my concerns and I appreciate it. They ended up refunding me which I think was the right thing to do....

My experience with CORT was seamless, thanks to Christian (from the Ft. Lauderdale store).Ā He was professional, responsive, and proactive.Ā Christian initiated contact with the management office at my building even before the leasing agent called me and arranged delivery before Thanksgiving!
The selection was minimal because I waited too long to order before the snowbirds came for the winter. Ā The pieces, however, were either in good or great condition, so much so that I added more furniture to my order after they were delivered.Ā Christian helped me select some pieces that I wanted to exchange and was candid about an item's condition. I canāt recall all the names, but special thanks to the movers, especially Mark, who kept a positive attitude despite working with a half working elevator.Ā The furniture was handled with care and professionally assembled.Ā One guy even helped me decide where to place the sofa. Thank you, CORT, for helping us transform what could've looked like a cold corporate apartment into a cozy temporary abode.

I was in need of furniture for my kid's room and needed it fairly quickly. A friend suggested Cort Furniture, so I swung by. I was plesantly suprised to see such great quality of previously owned/ rented/ leased furniture. The store set up felt like a name brand showroom, and at one point forgot I was shopping second hand. I was meet by a sales person by the name of Billy. He was so informative about all of the furniture products and even helped me out with measurments to ensure everything I purchased fit into my kids' room. I never once felt like just another customer because he took the time to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Talk about pulling out all of the stops! I explained to Billy, that I was a single mom and concerned about getting the items into my apartment. Billy offered me more than one option for delivery, which is a HUGE help! I am so thankful to my friend's suggestion, and even more thankful for all of the help and advice i received at Cort Furniture to truly make it a hassle...
