While this is smaller than the Glass Academy in Dearborn and only open twice a week, it is very worth planning a trip. It is located in a neighborhood so it could be easy to miss but Google doesn't get you lost as it can.
I was there for their pumpkin fest where you can take one of their project class and make a piece of glass. They have rotation of project classes that you can sign up on their website. I just came up to add to my purple pumpkin collection but it was so tempting to get a few other color. Don't bring your MasterCard like I did because you will get more. I got a maple leaf and a sitting cat.
Parking lot is small so if you came with a group, car pool. They have some interesting glass in the garden that is around the parking.
I will be back since I collect art glass. Just looking at all the pieces in prices ranging from under $100 to well over $1000 makes a return trip to even to just enjoy the...

There wasn’t much guidance or correction from the instructors, which was a bit disappointing given the price, which ranges from $115 to $150 or more. For that amount of money, I expected a bit more attention to detail and encouragement to ensure the final product was something to be proud of. I wish I bought an item with imperfections on sale before I left, since our final products aren’t something to be displayed. My group and I still had a great time, but the final results were...
Read moreTook a paperweight class with Chris & Dominique and had an absolute blast. They both did an amazing job explaining, demonstrating and guiding me through the process of making my art. I am hooked and will most definitely be taking more workshops in the future. After we finished the course we took some time to browse the art and had a wonderful conversation with Amy K. To connect with other human beings in such a organic and personal way is so rare in the world these days and both my husband and I walked away feeling like we had made a friend. My package arrived today with my beautiful paperweight and it included a beautiful note & thoughtful gift from Amy that only solidified our feelings of what an incredible human she is. Thank you Amy, Chris, Dominique and Epiphany Studios for a...
