A Truly Appalling Experience at Enterprise!!!
My recent visit to Enterprise Rent-A-Car was nothing short of a nightmare, easily the worst car rental experience I've ever had.
From the moment I stepped through the door, the unprofessionalism and sheer incompetence of the staff were on full display. The entire establishment felt dingy and moldy, a clear sign of their utter disregard for cleanliness and customer comfort. Honestly, I'd rather walk than ever set foot in that establishment again.
I arrived to pick up a vehicle that my insurance company had reserved, only to be met with immediate disarray. The employee, who looked like he'd just rolled out of bed, initially claimed my reservation was invalid. This was after I had called two hours prior and was explicitly told my car would be ready by 1:30 PM. The wait was excruciating, close to 45 minutes, during which he finally admitted the reservation was, in fact, good.
The disrespect continued when the same employee, who inexplicably had some type of head scarf on, casually dropped my driver's license into the trash after looking up my reservation. Not a word, not an apology, no attempt to retrieve it. I had to fish it out myself!
To top off this abysmal experience, after all the waiting and indignity, he tried to pawn off a small Mitsubishi SUV, completely ignoring the type and size of SUV I had reserved. He seemed utterly clueless, demonstrating a shocking lack of attention to detail and customer needs.
This Enterprise location is a disgrace. The staff are not only rude and unprofessional, but they also clearly lack any semblance of proper training or customer service etiquette. Their appearance alone screamed disinterest, looking as though they'd just rolled out of bed. If you have any other option, avoid this Enterprise at all costs. It's truly the worst rental car experience I've ever...
Read moreEnterprise is a dishonest business, and I highly encourage anyone reading this to avoid not just this location, but any Enterprise at all.
I had a reservation for a car rental at 10am today. My wife had called before arriving to confirm that a car was ready for me, and we were told that it was. Once I arrived, I was told no cars were available. The employee I spoke to tried to refer to me to another location in Hampton. At least when I called the other location they were honest that they didn't have any cars. I told the employee twice that this location had confirmed there was a car available for me, and his excuse was "there are flaws in the system."
I waited around because the employee said he was trying to find another location with a car available. In the meantime, my wife called Enterprise and they promised her a car would be made available and brought to this location within an hour max. No such car ever arrived, and around noon the employee I was speaking to said that Enterprise had no cars available on the entire peninsula.
I really don't appreciate having my time wasted and being repeatedly lied to. If there were no cars available, they should have said so in the first place. If it was not possible to find a car at another location, they should not have promised to bring one within an hour. I don't understand what could compel a business to so brazenly lie. It's not like they're going to make a buck off me by forcing me to wait around for no reason. If anything, they've guaranteed my wife and I will never try doing business with them again, and that we will actively discourage others from considering...
Read moreWe are going through USAA due to our 2015 Jeep being in the body shop. First Enterprise picked me up in a car that had been smoked in from a previous rental, it stunk and made me sick to my stomach. Then the receptionist was insistent on taking MY credit card for the transaction and reserving $100 on the credit card. My experience I will have to go through HELL to get it credited back to my card. NOT customer freindly. The rental vehicle is the MOST plain base line vehicle, nothing close to what I had to give up. The radio reception does not get most of the local radio stations and the ones it does get the sound is static. There is a makeshift key for this model, does not unlock when the key is close. Just disguisting. The receptionist was horrid, not at all personable, demanding and rude at times. Dropping off the vehicle was worse, really did not think that it could get any worse! Since the tank was not half full the clerk was going to charge me $40, so I went 2 blocks down the street and filled it for $10. HORRIBLE rip off. Before that horrible customer service experience I was about 3 blocks away picking up my Jeep, Enterprise was going to charge $20 for a pick up fee because they were so busy. When I arrived at Enterprise there were 3 employees just sitting around, what happened to so BUSY? I am going to call USAA and recommend they NOT use enterprise in the future. Too bad I couldn't give them negative stars, because they...
