The event was majorly understaffed. I totally understand with the current environment but having only two people running food and being rushed to finish dinner that we had just gotten served so that the wall could be closed was ridiculous. We were seated at 5 and the last tables weren't served until 7:20 and the food was ice cold. For what we paid, I'm appalled. Again, I understand with everything going on. But this was just shy of us making the food and serving ourselves. Which in hindsight, would have been faster, hot, and an actual portion size. Almost everything about this location that I have experienced is top notch. The Convention Ctr seems to do things right, the Gift Shop has it all, If you get the right price point for you at the hotel, you can not beat the view! My only issue is the attached restaurant. I am sorry to report that after multiple visits to Freighters, they have failed, time and time again to provide acceptable service. First it was they were new, then it was they were short staffed, then, and then and ... I live here. None of these visits were a one off.
