OJ's Coin & Jewelry — Attraction in Port Saint Lucie

I’ve done business twice here and now I am very upset I did. These people are scam artist. All the do is talk talk talk talk to distract distract distract distract. But this time I knew better. While OJ was talking my ear off he was just moving all my coins to the side wasn’t explaining nothing about them just trying to make things as quick as possible. He was looking at some and I can just see his eyes shining. And then he mentioned to me about Morgan CC coins and how different and important they were and I knew that in the pile I had there was 2. After I told him he said oh noooo there isn’t. He even tried to stop me from double checking because he insisted that’s what his job is to do and how important his reputation about honesty is nonetheless I started looking through the piles he created And he was visibly upset that I was messing up the piles but sure enough I pulled out a Carson City Morgan And it blew him off his rocker he know he has been caught. He was extremely Embarrassed I’ve dealt with these people two times and two times now I feel robbed by dishonesty. When I called him out I grabbed my things and left because I was upset and I knew he was busy. I tried calling today to reconcile and expecting an apology from him and to continue business and pray he’s more honest but I guess that embarrassment from last time really hit a nerve he told me on the phone that I come in here and waste his time and don’t actually sell anything. That’s crazy.. because I literally have the receipts of me not wasting anyone’s time and have sat there for 3 hours with different employees and actually sold and trusted everything they told me. You guys check the reviews on Facebook. OJ is known for his scams. He uses his mouth to bribe people but sorry baby you weren’t able to bribe me and scam me this time. There is plenty of other places to sell your precious metals and coins DONT BE SCAMMED BY THEM !! I will share this review on every platform on social media to make sure good people don’t get robbed by these bad people.

I was referred to this business by another vendor and went into the store yesterday (01-23-2025) with no appointment with just 25 minutes before closing time. Taylor was the young man that assisted me and I was treated with the utmost respect and was amazed at the information he was able to provide to me about the old coins that I had brought in. His product knowledge was second to none and I felt so comfortable with his answers about the value of my coins that I sold him most of my collection without any hesitation and without checking or comparing prices with any other companies. Normally I'll do my due diligence but in this case I felt absolutely no need to do so. He also provided me with a list for the rest of my coins to see if there are any rare or valuable ones left in my collection. When I asked Taylor if it was to close to closing time to do this transaction he said no and advised me that he did have another appointment but would gladly stay open until I was taken care of which he did and stayed open another 45 minutes after their posted closing time. In this day and age most businesses have lost sight of good customer service but OJ's Coin & Jewelry has not lost that sight and unlike most corporate owned stores this Mom & Pop store went above and way beyond my expectations to make me a new customer for life. Thank you Taylor for all your help, advice and for sharing some very interesting stories with me about the coin history. Your parents should really be proud of how you are representing and handling the store and its future. Thanks...

I've been going to and doing business with O.J. for well over 15 years and I have to say O.J.'s Coin and jewelry is the Very Best Coin and jewelry shop in all of Florida, very trustworthy and professional in every way, extremely knowledgeable and resourceful for all of your coin collection needs. Willing to help you in every way they can and way more than fair with prices and value. O.J. is AAA+++ kind of guy and so are the people who work there with him. I'd recommend you take all of your coins, currency and any collectables you may have to O.J.'s Coin and jewelry, because even if they don't deal with what you have they may know someone trustworthy that does.
