Rude carnicero. First he acted like he didn’t hear me calling him literally five times to ask a simple question. I did see him slowly cutting meat, but I wasn’t sure if he was working on refrigerator items because I did not see any customers near him. Once he finished, he acknowledged me and told me to wait. I asked him for what I needed, and because he was taking long I was looking at my phone. A few minutes passed by and he had completed doing my order and never let me know.    Read moreI would love to give more stars as I was trying to find a quick-stop market for tamales near me. This place is very close. However, compared to the tamales I get a bit further down the road, there was hardly any meat in these (I tried the beef and then the chicken). The chicken was very dry. There seemed to be mostly masa to meat ratio, and the husk was double folded into the masa. This made for having to deconstruct the tamale entirely before eating. I feel bad leaving such a review as the staff is friendly, but I'm hoping they can use this as constructive criticism and make improvements in the future.
