I enjoy coming here for many reasons: convenient location, good customer service (inconsistent), consistently good working weight equipment / machines, and the layout of the gym. I understand that the owner has to be objective in their response to customer reviews online (Iām sure Iāll even get a generic response - if that), but when the comments are consistent in terms of cleanliness, youād hope to see improvements over time; however, nothing has changed much. This place needs a DEEP CLEANING which is my top, and really only issue (which is why I rated my experience 4 stars).
Other items that Iāve noticed:
Poor lighting in parking lot at night. Iād recommend parking near the entrance of the glass door if you can. If not, bring a flashlight and some mace! Stay ready so you donāt have to get ready - just in case someone wants to run up so you can protect yourself.
The menās bathroom / locker room needs an air fresher to eliminate poop / musty odor. Ideally, something thatās neutral, but eliminate the smell.
Again, a deep cleaning such as dusting under equipment and machines. Seems like cutting corners is an ongoing theme.
Blow leaves in parking lot - itās obscuring parking lines.
The customer service seems Inconsistent with greeting guest upon entrance and exiting. Exceptional service goes a long way.
Lastly, it seems to be a lack of rounding such as making sure cleaning stations are stocked with paper and full spray bottles. In addition, making sure that the bathroom has toilet paper and is filled with commode liners. Not sure if this is an overnight third-party managing or the responsibility of the staff, but it should be done daily.
Is it a staffing, budgeting, or...

Like an alcoholic, the only thing that will affect change, is to make them change. That means people need to stop giving money to this place. Otherwise, there will be no motivation to clean up their act. It's the same complaints, over and over, for the last several years: Broken equipment that doesn't get repaired, inadequate quantity of Olympic plates, filthy and unsanitary, et cetera.
Edit: It's been 10 months since I left this review. I am thinking of making a change, due to the limited hours at my current gym. After looking at the other reviews, it appears that things have not changed appreciably. Thank you Google reviews, for saving me from wasting my time with another 3 day trial. It's safe to say that this gym has no interest in responding to members' feedback. That seems like a business plan that is doomed to fail, but yet this gym remains open for business.
Original review: I'm giving this gym another chance, after a terrible membership experience three years ago. I am doing the 3-day trial membership, and so far I am not impressed. There are not enough spring collars to go around, nor are there ample 5lb Olympic plates. (I noticed there was a shortage of 2.5lb plates, too.) If you know anything about progressive weight training, then you know this is unacceptable. I have got two days remaining on my pass. I sincerely hope I will be able to revise this review for the better. This will require an immediate purchase on their part, of ample 5 and 2.5 lb plates, as well as Olympic collars. I am not optimistic, but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTotally average, big chain gym. They're reasonably clean and constantly staffed with helpful people. I find their pay-for programs to be too expensive but if you know absolutely nothing about fitness, an intro package could be helpful. The locker rooms are spacious and clean. They have a pool but I don't swim for fitness so I can't comment on its quality.
The downstairs has rows of cardio equipment. You should be able to find something right for you, from treadmills to ellipticals to stair masters. What they desperately need more of are row machines.
The upstairs has the weight equipment. There's rows of isolation machines which are always in good repair as well as two cable weight stations, which is nice during rush hour. They have dumbbell pairs in triplets so you should always be able to find the weight you want. Additionally there is a 4 person free weight station with pads and bumper plates. So if you want to lift heavy things and drop them, you can. This can get pretty congested during peak, so if you want unfettered or prolonged access, go during off-peak hours.
Additionally there is a full size basketball gym, a yoga studio with mirrors, and a spin class room.
This is very much a generalist gym. It has everything, just not a lot of it. So know what you're going to do ahead of time and plan accordingly. The other patrons are standard fitness people. They mostly keep to themselves unless they need a piece of equipment.
Brass tacks: if you want to work out, this will do what you need. Just be mindful of timing, always return the weights, wash your hands before you go home, and remember that the best exercise is the one...
