Houndogs Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Portland

Worst bar I have ever been to. When the owner had to smell test the food in front of you before deciding if it was alright to cook and serve… Most disgusting experience of my life. You feel like it’s the bar from Trailer Park Boys that they set up in Julian’s trailer. Except the TPB probably clean their bar more than this place. Feels like it has not been cleaned or sanitized properly since it was first opened. No idea how places like this are not shut down by the health department.

When people refer to this as a dive bar, it’s obvious they have no idea what that actually means. This place feels like when you used to hanging out in high school at your friends strange uncles house because they didn’t care what you were doing, except those garages were a bit nicer and had more comfortable seating than this place. Improper sanitization, questionably spoiled food, every surface you touch is sticky = this place...

Very good late night hambuger & fries for a very reasonable price, on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday evenings. Affordable drinks, as well as VERY friendly service. A little divebar hidden treasure with a jukebox and great sound system at SE Holgate & Milwaukie Avenue, in Portland, Oregon. Great place!

Fantastic, perfectly cooked home fries and broiled jalepino deluxe pepperjack cheese burger. Flippin' YUM!!!

My husband was biting keno tickets and the total was $45 and he only had $40 on him so he hands her the $40 and said "hold on to the tickets. I got to go home and grab the other $5 but I'll be back!". He returned about an hour later and the bar tender told him she didn't think he was coming back so she threw in the $5 and there was only $5 in winnings so they are even. She didn't show him the tickets or nothing. The owner was also there and he did nothing about this. My husband paid for$40 in tickets and should have gotten at least that but furthermore, that bar tender should not have been gambling on duty. Very...
