STAY AWAY. The low ratings are all very real! I wish I had read them all before ever purchasing anything from this particular store. I never leave reviews so this is pretty serious if I’m actually leaving this review. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! This is the worst store ever! Customer service is awful! The sales reps are great…but the manager and her assistant are the absolute worst. We bought sofas here and they are awful! We bought insurance and are still being given the runaround for things that are covered under the insurance! That’s fine—dealing with it. We decided to give them another chance and just bought a bed from them and when received we realized that what they sold us was the wrong size bed…an actual wrong product! We called to see if we can get the actual bed we bought and they told us…and I kid you not… “there’s nothing we can do for you.” All we asked for is the bed we ordered because they know they misrepresented the product they sold and they refuse to work with us. When we tried to explain this to customer service in the store, the “assistant” laughed at us! They then blamed it on us and said because we’ve had it for 2 weeks that it’s our fault and the pieces were somehow messed up. EXCEPT THE BED WAS PUT TOGETHER BY THEIR TECHS, STILL HAS TAGS ON, ANDDDD WE HAVEN’T EVEN MOVED IN YET SO IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED! They just laughed. It is a damn shame that this is what customer service has come to. They have absolutely NO customer service etiquette. We weren’t asking for a refund—we were simply asking for the product we ordered!!! Cannot believe the terrible customer service we experienced. Absolutely sickening how they laughed and gave us a runaround. My foot can easily fall through this gap (same size gap on both sides)…a huge safety issue! Do NOT go to this store. Worst by far! Again, the reps are great…but the manager and her minion are the nastiest two people I have ever worked with or purchased anything from. It is a shame if Ashley’s allows this to happen. A damn shame. Go literally anywhere else. Anywhere.

Had a fun time buying a couch with Luke (sales guy). He was funny, and we both poked fun of a few different aspects of buying one. I wasn't expecting to buy something, but left feeling like I got a good deal. Pros: - Great selection. - Luke (my sales guy) was fun. - Couch showed up as planned, wrapped and in good condition. Weirds / Cons: - Warehouse is apparently in WA, rendering pickup useless for OR buyers due to then having to pay sales tax. Seems like either a very poor business decision (from the customers perspective) or a very slimy one (to force delivery-fees). - Delivery cost seems dependent on couch cost, not size or weight. A $1,000 2-seat couch had a ~$130 delivery, while a $2,500 couch of (seemingly) the same size and weight had a delivery fee of ~$260. Weird. - Price isn't the first-read on markers, and the default price loads outs with deluxe delivery and an extended warranty (sales guy will push this, which is their job). Tips: - Walk around the entire store looking for the price tags. We found a couch that was heavily discounted (50% off) and perfect for our application. - Headrest movement isn't as critical a feature as it initially seems. The argument is: You don't have to use a pillow", but the truth is, a good recliner will not require one. After sitting in a few, I think the headrest movement is just another potential part to break. - The couch comes in pieces that are dead-simple to assemble. The back rests are removable, and simply slide and lock into the base. - If you have friends to move it: Ask if there is a cheaper curbside delivery price. I'm not sure how much more my deluxe delivery cost me (honestly, I got a good price at $130) but after seeing how simple it was to assemble I may have opted for 2 friends and a pizza on delivery day. - Remember that the extended warranty is optional, and don't let anyone talk you into it if you don't want it. My couch is for a home theater room. It's very cozy, and no: I'm not sitting too close.

DO NOT PURCHASE ASHLEY FURNITURE OR THEIR WARRANTY – IT’S A COMPLETE SCAM! I am beyond pissed. Ashley Furniture is complete garbage, and their warranty is an absolute joke. Do not waste your money on their cheaply made furniture, and whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR WARRANTY—it’s worthless. I bought a full living room set—couches, a rug, a coffee table, the whole deal. Less than five years later, everything is falling apart. And no, this isn’t from rough use—it’s because the quality is absolute trash. My husband sat down on the couch, just sat down, and the frame snapped. That’s how poorly made their furniture is. The coffee table? Started peeling and falling apart after about a year or two. The materials they use are cheap, and it shows. Now, let’s talk about the so-called “warranty”. When we bought the set, the sales rep at Ashley pushed hard for us to add it, promising that it would cover everything—tears, zippers, stains, the works. That was a complete lie. The only thing it actually covers is the frame. That’s it. So if your couch tears, the seams come apart, or a zipper breaks? Too bad, they won’t fix it. When I called GBS (the warranty provider), it took months of back-and-forth just to get them to fix the broken frame. Meanwhile, they kept promising they’d take care of the fabric damage—but when I called back, suddenly it was, “Oh, sorry, your warranty doesn’t cover that.” Absolute scam. And Ashley’s furniture overall? Not worth the money. We went back once to look at bed sets, and my husband immediately pointed out how flimsy they were. Nothing is built to last. A couple of pieces seemed sturdy, but the rest? Cheap, low-quality, and overpriced. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY. It’s all a scam to get more money out of you while selling you junk that won’t even last five years. Spend your money at an actual furniture store where you’re paying for quality, not garbage.

On November 13th I went to Ashley furniture store to purchase a couch I found a lovely couch it was soft and plushy and wonderful, One of the clerks was so nice and wonderful to help me to get one of those wonderful expensive Ashley store credit cards we signed up for it and we got the couch all set up for delivery for December 14th they told me that they were going through a transition and they told me that by December 14th I would still get the couch and I had nothing to worry about Come December 14th I had received an email stating that the couch was on its way and it was going to be delivered however it never arrived and nobody called me to confirm or tell me that the couch was never coming I had to call them to find out where the couch was and what was going on they told me I wasn't getting the couch due to the shipping issues and the transition and it was going to be another 4 to 5 weeks if not longer I told him that this was unacceptable and I needed my couch they told me that they would see what they could do and that they would call me back they never called me back it has been a game of cat and mouse with them the entire time this has been an absolute waste of my time and money this is horrible customer service this is not the type of customer service you give your customers I have since contacted the better Business bureau and filed a complaint I have since called the Ashley store and canceled my order and I have since gone to mor furniture for less and purchased a couch plus more for a way better deal and even got way better freebies I would highly recommend people not shopping at Ashley furniture due to the headache and issues they provide and the horrible issues both in store and online this is not how you treat your customers and this is not the shopping experience customers should experience or go through when purchasing expensive furniture and by the way people mor furniture they have way better deals and I mean way better I saved over $2,000 on what I purchased from compared to what I had purchased with Ashley!!! Ashley furniture thanks for nothing and thanks for wasting my time and thanks for letting me go through the Christmas with no furniture in my apartment and have them sit on camp chairs what a wonderful...
