Nordstrom Rack — Attraction in Portland

The best thing about the Nordstrom's rack is that all the other stores around it have long lines going to this one and that's not a problem.

Also the store absolutely has a great selection of shoes I took my 5-year-old niece there and that's pretty much where we go to go and pick her up some good quality shoes..

The shoes in the kids section is a little bit messy but then again it's not the staff or the store itself they do their best. A really good top tip while you're at the store is after you pick up the shoes in the kids section go over to the men's shoes. Everything is nice and the seats where the shoes are are perfectly clean and usually there's nothing left on top of them.

As far as cleanliness of the store and overall presentation this is one of the reasons why I value going to any Nordstrom's they really do run a top notch operation.

This store is jam-packed with great deals and lots of selection of clothing shoes and just about anything else that you'd like to get or need or a simple fashion accessory to make your evening a great one.

My niece was able to pick out a pair of shoes she really liked I think there were some Adidas that were white and they fit her perfectly too and they were super comfy!

I also have to add that the men's shoe selection is absolutely wonderful! When relatives come either from Dubai London France or from India this is one of the first places I take them for shopping because the prices are really good and in fact the quality is top notch.

Some other things people may not notice is that this store has absolutely wonderful lighting. A lot of people don't actually notice this but when you walk into the store it absolutely is at a great color temperature and makes a great shopping experience.

These are the little things that Nordstrom's does better than just about any other department store and because they care about these little details it's one of the reasons why I love shopping there.

Also customer service is top notch super friendly and of course absolutely on top.

Once you get used to the supreme shopping experience of shopping in a place like Nordstroms or higher end outlet he simply can't go back to something lower than this Yes I understand it probably cost a little bit more but believe me I would rather pay for top-notch service top notch goods and absolute 100% great shopping experience compared to going to Target or any other...

So my sister and I went into this location and immediately saw a purse a she wanted. Not even 5 minutes into walking in the store we asked an associate to put the bag on hold and was told that it would be behind the checkout counters. We clearly identified the specific bag we wanted and even watched her unlock the purses from the security tag. We browsed the store for not even 30 minutes and went up to the counter as we were told to ask for the bag we had just put on hold. The bag that was shown to us was NOT the bag we wanted and the bag that we actually wanted was no where to be found. This is the most ridiculous situation I have ever had to deal with. First she pulled the wrong bag after we literally grabbed and physically showed the lady which bag we wanted. Afterwards, the wrong bag was put on hold and miraculously the bag that we actually wanted was all of a sudden gone...WITHIN 30 MINUTES of being in the store!!! How does this happen?! On top of that they honestly didn't even TRY looking for the bag! The workers just casually browsed random places and said sorry. They literally did not care at all that they just ruined our shopping experience! RIDICULOUS. All the manager had to say was "sorry, we'll work on training our staff better." Seriously? That's all you have to say? I honestly don't care about the training of the staff I just want to know how someone can lose a purse in 30 minutes! Sounds to me like someone liked the bag and kept it for themselves... but who knows what actually happened. NEVER coming to this...

Fastest store return EVER!

I bought a pair of shoes online and they didn't fit. One of the options is to return it to the closest Rack, so I started the return.

I kept forgetting to bring the shoes with me to work since I pass one of their stores twice a day. Once I remembered, the whole side trip on my way home had very little interruption with my commute.

The process was lightning quick. I still had the package they were shipped in, which had my order number on it. I wasn't asked to provide any identification, they only asked me for my email address to send the receipt to. I used PayPal to buy these, and just like that, I walked out of the store with my return receipt.

By the time I got home, I had an email from PayPal saying the return was complete, and that I should see the full amount back in my account by June 30th. This was done on June 26th. It is already showing up in my online banking account.

I was very pleased with the level of customer service that I was provided. I will definitely shop here again, and will continue to use PayPal to make online purchases!!!

Now if I can only find those shoes...
