Martin, the new event manager destroyed my party plans by lying and his failure to properly plan. The former event manager was great at her job and there were never any hiccups. This man told me not to worry as he looked at the calendar and let me know that my date was available. Within two hours I had signed the contract and paid my deposit, paid for my banquet license and sent out my invitations!! About a week later I reached out to him again regarding the contract and he text me back saying that he regrets to inform me but the venue is no longer available because someone paid before me. Then he says that he checked the calendar and noticed that he double booked it. Mind you he looked at the calendar when he first told me the space was available so I know he is lying somewhere!! They will never get my money or my recommendation unless they fire him and hire someone...
