Very disappointing staff, use people for their own gain. A volunteer pastor reached out to my sister because her soon to be ex-husband, an attendee of the church, was making a complaint against the volunteer pastor and, also, other patrons of the church were complaining about the ex-husband and specifically stated, "he is leaving a path of destruction" (this is what the volunteer pastor told her). She met with the volunteer pastor who said he would help her with her domestic violence case with her soon to be ex-husand, protect her from him bc he has anger issues and even spoke about his previous military experience and discipline. After he got the information he wanted from her, he refused to help her and claimed that God told him not to. He basically used her for information and walked away. I reached out to the lead pastor, who initially seemed genuinely concerned, but then stopped returning my emails. I am baffled that God fearing people (or at least claim to be) would use others for their own gain and then turn their back on those that need help. It appears the staff at this church are untruthful, selfish and dismissive...

I’ve been searching for a church for quite some time now. One I feel moved by & lights that fire in me. When I tell you everything about this place was what I was searching for… the worship, the open arms & welcoming people, the child care, the pastor, everything. I finally found my church and I’m beyond happy about it. They really lived up to their name, HEART of the city 🤍 Thanks everyone who made my family feel so welcome today! 🫶🏼 see you next...
