I absolutely am appalled! The manager Sarah is an absolute JERK. Myself and my husband drove through the drive through to get two double cheeses (which is something we do about twice a month). We pulled out and pulled over to open them up and grease flung from the wrapper. This wasn’t just a little grease like we were used to this was full on saturation of the wrapper and through the bag it was sent out in and onto my cars carpet. We aren’t ones to normally complain but this was a little much so we drove back through the drive through. We were then confronted by Sarah the manager who was rude from the start and had the nastiest tone. I opened the wrapper to show her (I was very nice and was just wishing to get a new one that wasn’t dripping grease everywhere) and she didn’t want anything to do with us. She then stated “I don’t know anybody who would come to a fast food place and f$&king complain about grease.” At this point we were quite comfortable with just wanting a refund rather than new sandwiches with the fear of her spitting in them or doing something childish so when we asked she said “give me the food then.” While wrapping it back up I asked “can’t you guys not take back food from us? I mean I know y’all will just throw it away so I’ll just give it to my dog.” I then pointed back to my dog who was heavily panting over my shoulder. She began again with an increased amont of aggressive attitude and stated, “if you don’t give me the food back I’m not giving you a refund since your just looking for free food.” We never wanted free food or we wouldn’t have paid the $11 in the beginning... having worked in fast food back in our teens we knew they couldn’t take the food back and if they did they’d throw it away so why not let the dog eat the grease infested burger?? We were now just in shock and handed it to her and she snatched it and dramatically threw it in the trash right by the window. After this the other (very nice) short haired blonde gal came to get my card and we were relieved to be dealing with her. (I even told her I was sorry and that we thought she was very nice) we mentioned to this gal that we would be writting a review about how mean her manager was and she smiled at us. Then the manager went out of her way to make sure she gave us the card back and then very loudly and with as much sarcasm as she could muster said “ha, have a great day and I’m so excited to read your review!” I’m so tired of this woman and completely appalled. As a business owner I would be greatly embarrassed to have such scum representing my establishment. I feel sorry for the owner. I hope they find out sooner rather than later what she’s really doing while...
Read moreThis one was completely as a by- standards POV having reluctantly accompanied a friend as they ordered through the drive-thru. At first glance it appears past due for a makeover, the primitive ordering board, the small comm system which on a windy day makes it almost impossible to be heard and a pushy staff who seemed like taking a moment to glance over the menu would be unacceptable we made our way to the window. Now Paul Bunyan's has always been known for a superiority when it comes to waiting times however, this order was filled rather quickly. On a peculiar note the tips cup, a literal styrofoam empty cup with tips written on it taped to the window almost screams we don't make enough money help us as I've yet to see it at any other drive-thru or fast food facility and let's face it although a little less expensive than most it's not exactly a service that I deem tipping as fashionable for and considering the wait time almost anyone could just reach in and take it from them. That said Paul Bunyan's has been around as long as I can remember and even my friends who are doctors have started their working lives at this facility but the unfriendly vibes and rushed order compounded by not being able to hear clearly made the visit awkward at best. On a side note I had stopped by to get a shake a week prior I believe it was a Friday or the weekend and the entire place was closed I presume due to staffing as I do not remember it ever being closed any of the seven days a overall their food is decent in the fast food sector comparable with perhaps zips or other not-huge conglomerates it does boast longevity and has three locations one in Post falls (Idaho & Seltice), one in Coeur d'Alene (S NW BLVD) and one in Hayden/Dalton Gardens ( N GOVT WAY)....
Read morei ordered a small pumpkin shake and it was so unbelievably nasty, i’m a huge pumpkin fan normally and it tasted like nasty baby food. like a natural pumpkin. i went up to the drive thru to see about a refund because it tasted absolutely disgusting and they said there was nothing they could do about it? i said it tasted like canned pumpkin and she said she can’t refund it because it’s what we ordered was canned pumpkin? like what ? i ordered a PUMPKIN SHAKE. it never said it was canned pumpkin i was expecting a pumpkin flavored shake not actual canned pumpkin. definitely lost a customer. this was absolutely atrocious customer service. do not reccomend!! don’t waste your money coming here. we had the manager come out to try and resolve this and she argued with us, had the worst customer service and had a nasty attitude, came out with a body cam and was recording us, acting like it was inconvenient to do her job and completely was just overall disrespectful and acted disgusting. i will never ever be coming back here, 11 $ for crappy small shakes is crazy!! she said how she isn’t a big business and shouldn’t be out of her money but like as if we should?! acted like she came down here on her “day off” to talk to us and how she “shouldn’t have to do that” when her own employee said she was already on her way here to pick something up and would have her come out? her own employee had the idea not us. that’s absolutely crazy! normally pumpkin shakes have pumpkin flavoring not actual canned pumpkin, they should disclose that because that is so uncommon and...
