Been a few years, and wow. We had kiddos with us last time, so we never saw the bar side. It's probably one of the more impressive dive bars in our area. No lie. I am not a fan of my lovely Wifey's nicotine habit, but once we sat down in the thick of things, she brazenly lit up with a smile on her lip, slightly sneering with a wisp of visible smoke gently wafting from the right corner of her mouth. I wax poetic on unhealthy vices--pardons begged, and hand me a double-shot of well vodka (neat). Great bar food. Hearty. But, boy-oh-boy, if you will have an issue with a smoky bar, just don't go to that side. Take my words as an illustration of what it is. Those of us over 60 will feel nostalgic. Under 60 folks, will race home, strip off their clothes and throw them in the washer. But! Rest assured the dining room side is smoke free. Our bartender/server, Sandy (sp?), was an absolute hottie-cake-cougar, and was great with us, and the rest of the happy customers...

I can't say enough good things about this cute little diner! We stopped in with my family of 8 (5 adults 3 kids) after being on the road for 5 days and this was the best breakfast I've had the whole trip! Everything about this place reminded me of home! The food was delicious and fast! The service was fun efficient and so nice! Great coffee, yummy bloody mary, and the biggest side of ham I've ever seen! Seriously just such a nice place! So happy we stopped I highly recommend!

I was getting new tires installed down the street & tried this place. I got CFS. The waitress wanted to make sure I wanted the full size and not the 1/2 size. They didn't skimp on the steak or the gravy. And it was $14. I'll go back again and try something else. 👍

A place where people of lgbtq or not welcome... on April 20th of 2018 I was in this establishment minding my own business as a female I went to go use the ladies room, where I was approached by a couple bikers from the club of (Bikers Against teenage abuse) and a waitress of the bar who said that they supported me and we're on my side but insisted that I use the men's room or a completely separate bathroom in the manager's office... after I told them that I was within my legal rights and that this was discrimination they then told me that I was not welcome there if I wouldn't use the facilities they segregated for me and after I declined their offer they told me to not come back... this is complete and utter discrimination and goes against my human rights, I will never go to this bar again and I don't think anybody else should either unless you're a...

This was a go to for my husband for decades and for us the last decade. I heard it had new owners and I'd like to say, either "train" your cooks or hire a couple that know how to cook. Breakfast steak was WAY over done as well as the eggs. The second round of eggs undercooked. I should have ordered rare steak because the steak was "at best" medium. The server I can't complain about. But dayum. I feel terrible for mentioning over done over medium eggs. Then to find my steak unpalatable about 10 minutes later. I've had overcooked eggs here before but this steak was the REAL disappointment. My husband says another "staple" of north Idaho gone. He's not wrong. I'm very sad to say I won't be returning to the once favorite...
